Brownie B Big Bear Lake

Walk to Snow Summit or the Lake and just 2-3 minutes to the Village. Can be rented with Unit A (Brownie Combo) to sleep 12.



Cabin B is 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths and sleeps 6. It is comfortably furnished and ready for your enjoyment. If you have a larger group, this unit can be booked with Cabin A next door to sleep a TOTAL of 12 people.



As you enter into the inviting Living Room, you will find a cozy, Gas Fireplace, Comfortable Sectional and a large, Flat Screen TV waiting for you. This is the ideal place to kick back and relax after a day on the slopes or trails. Close by is the spacious, Well-Equipped Kitchen and Dining Room as well as a convenient Half Bath.



Upstairs, you will find three Bedrooms and two Full Baths. The Master Bedroom features a luxurious, King Bed and Flat Screen TV as well as a Private Full Bathroom. Guest Bedroom 1 has a comfy, Queen Bed and Guest Room 2 has two Twin Beds. Both rooms share a Full Bathroom.

It's in a great location and close to everything in Big Bear. Definitely staying again!

Bear disappointment

Communication with management company was poor. We found 1 key under the door mat. Asked for a second but was not available. Info to connect to Internet was not correct and the box was not connected. We found 7 very old towels for 6 people and when asked for more we were told we can wash them if we wanted to. Serving dishes in the kitchen were scattered around and there was not enough glasses and only 2 serving knives. We were very disappointed with the dated condition of linen in the bed rooms. All dark so we couldn’t see if they were clean . Mattresses missing bed bugs covers ! One new queen size mattress very comfortable but quite high so my wife needed a stool to climb on and she is physically fit . The king mattress old and hard and 2 single squeaky and old as the place. The owners definitely should check the place before renting . Replacing all the linen and old mattresses , changing sofa in the living room , changing dining table that accommodates 4 by adding at least 2 more chairs so all people in the party can enjoy the meal at the table together. Getting rid off the dirty chair pads, getting all the same serving utensils and just organizing everything in the kitchen wouldn’t hurt ether . Place is definitely cozy but updates are in order! After initial shock we did enjoy our stay. More towels , plates and utensils were delivered and we fixed the stocked blinds in the kitchen . Luckily for us we brought some linens and fresh pillows with us. As a vacation rental property owners ourselves we always like to be prepared for unexpected management company shortcuts. Hope the owners will read our concerns and make some changes in spite that we were told by the renting agent nobody ever complained. If you like we can provide pictures!

Ski trip for 6 adults

The cabin is cozy. It’s not far from big bear snow play, the drive to bear mountain ski resort is about 12 minutes away, the grocery stores are a mile away, as well as big bear village. The backyard faces big bear boulevard and although that road is usually congested, you don’t hear any of the traffic. Kenny is very polite and quick to respond to any questions you may have. While it is a duplex the walls are thick enough that you won’t hear your neighbors. The room with two twin beds is a bit tight so it’d be better suited for younger kids. Definitely not two 6 foot boys that we had sleeping in there. It was a bit of stretch but hey they made it work ! Overall the cabin was great. The checking in and out experience was a breeze.

The cabin was incredibly clean, had all the necessary supplies and the management staff was thorough in their communication and turnaround responses. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!!
