"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We brought our paddle boards so being right on Lake Independence was great. The living space was very clean, had everything we needed (including a comfortable bed!), and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We also loved being about 35 minutes from Marquette - there is a wonderful Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings that we recommend going to. "Book the stay you won't regret it! The property is gorgeous and very well kept. Joyce and Jeff are the most helpful hosts I've ever had with a booking. If you forget anything I can almost guarantee they've got you covered. They let us use their private beach area on Superior and even gave us some tips on the best fishing spots on Lake Independence. "This cabin, location and lake were the perfect antidote for an amazing relaxing vacation. The pictures do not share the wonderful size windows and views of the lake. The high point of this trip was spending lots of time on the water with the owners paddle board, kayak and canoe. My only desire would have been entry instructions arriving two to three days ahead of time as VRBO said was the norm for most properties or an earlier indication of when I would get those instructions.
