"Clean and quiet hotel. No aircraft noise heard at all. Polite staff. Room 668’s shower left the shower’s tray partly blocked and almost about to spill out on to the tiled floor. Nasty drain smells from the shower was the clue to the problem! Air conditioning system not very affective at all."

"Our stay at the ship inn was lovely. The room was spacious and modern, the bed was really comfortable, the bathroom and walk in shower were delightful. We didn’t have the breakfast as we had other plans with friends. This is a help yourself continental style breakfast, which looked quite basic but perfectly adequate. "I was able to check in online before I arrived at The Kicking Dickey. The staff were very helpful and friendly along with the pub which I thought was very welcoming. My room was at the rear of the property so away from any noise. The room itself was comfortable and well maintained, I think it might of been a converted stable. Nice functional bathroom with a shower and a very comfortable single bed. Lots of free parking outside the property. All in all well worth a stay."

"I wish I’d just paid more to go to a chain hotel. This was terrible, the shower took 10 minutes to warm up by this point the bathroom was already flooded and the water was leaking into the bedroom floor. One of the great benefits was ‘FREE PARKING’ listed on their advert but I was in fact charged for parking for the few hours I was there overnight!!! Conveniently close to the airport but that’s about all that was good about this place."

"Lovely, interesting old building in a very good location. Given the age of the hotel there are the inevitable uneven floors and slightly steep stairs. The free parking at the rear of the hotel is a real bonus. Our room was comfortable, well equipped and pleasantly decorated. The breakfasts were consistently good but sadly the hotel does not provide evening meals. All the staff were cheerful and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again."

"All the staff where polite and helpful, it just probably my over sights that I didn’t know this is a pub and a busy one, it was 1 in the morning with music playing that I emailed the pub to ask when things would quiet down and my young child couldn’t sleep. Very basic room, screw on the floor, cracks in the walls, dirty toilet and bath."
