Other younger desk staff made mistakes (got room number wrong for taxi and almost sent driver away, then called a second taxi while driver was still there) or were unhelpful and gave up easily (looked for a lost jacket indifferently). Older desk staff made much more of an effort and found coat easily. Younger staff lacked a willingness to work."

The staff were also very friendly and helpful, and we had some great cocktails from the ground floor bar. All that said, I’ll likely stay elsewhere next time because I also noted very dirty walls and surfaces in our room, as well as some dirty crockery, and I didn’t think the room layout was especially well planned.
