Quiet country living right in the heart of town and moments from the mountains is what you'll find at this beautiful Bethlehem cottage. Within walking distance of village shops, breweries, and New England historical sights (such as the Colonial Theatre, Rocks Estate, and Gilded Age), this cozy home offers the perfect escape from the everyday. Traditional decor and features provide welcome comfort for the whole family, with some of the best backcountry skiing through White Mountain National Park and year-round recreation offering four seasons of fun. During the winter, there are tons of Nordic tracks, snowmobile, or snowshoe trails to explore, or you can hit one of the many nearby ski resorts. Cannon Mountain is just nine miles south and Bretton Woods is only 13 miles east of town. Outside of ski season, you'll have a bounty of nearby hiking and fishing options. Golfers in the group will also enjoy easy access to Bethlehem Golf Club and Maplewood Golf Course both within a two-mile drive. Story Land Amusement park, Whales Pale Water Park, Ice Castles, and Living Shores Aquarium offer easy day trips for families looking for a day of fun with their little ones. There are a number of other attractions to visit as well, such as a dirt bike course, a skatepark, antique shops, axe throwing, moose tours, a maple syrup factory, a rope course, train rides, and the world's largest candy counter, Cheddar Candies.

Back at home, the front porch makes a perfect perch for morning coffee and also features a gas grill for summertime cookouts. Beautiful and well maintained home

Everyone in our group had an absolute blast staying on this property and hope to stay again, no one wanted to leave! The house is original condition and very beautifully maintained. There was pretty much everything you could need there for use. Having a convenience store, restaurant and ice cream shop right down the street was convenient and we made many trips. The check out requirements were minimal which was refreshing, some places leave you a whole chore list. The only reason I could think of to not stay at this rental would be if you can’t respect other people’s property because this home deserves care and appreciation.

Short Drive to Mt. Washington/Cog Railway

This place was perfect for the four of us. Immaculately clean, extremely roomy, very well appointed with everything we could have needed and more. A one block walk to the intersection with Main Street at which there is a brew pub/restaurant, a lovely coffee house, a deli/convenience store and 24 hr. gas station. What more could you need. It is a 25 minute drive to trailheads for Ammonoosuc Ravine and Jewell trails and the base station for the Cog Railway. There are beds for nine in the four bedrooms (one room has two bunk beds) upstairs, and a nice kitchen, large dining room, two living/sitting rooms and a beautiful covered front porch on the first floor. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Best stay in Bethlehem ever

This property was so spacious, very well stocked (many towels, toiletries, books, games...)and beautiful outdoors. There are so many different porches, rooms to spend time in. The kids never got bored. The location is fantastic. right off Main street but at the same time very secluded. the Vacasa management was very responsive and took very good care of us. We would love to be back next year.
