" ATTENTION RENTERS" "Barefoot in Bethany is a pet friendly beach house! Just 4 Blocks to the beach!! Bedrooms remodeled. New mattresses and box springs, and quilts. Freshly Painted. New Flooring. 4 Bedrooms, 3/1/2 Bath. All bedrooms and family room have smart TV's, guest can stream any streaming service. Come relax in your home away from home. 2 Master Bedrooms. Both Masters have Private Bathrooms. We also provide plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys for the beach. We also have a beach cart to make it easy to transport everything to and from the beach. Fully Stocked Kitchen. OXO-Tea Kettle, Keurig Coffee Maker. For your safety, the home is protected by a Ring Doorbell located outside on the right side of the front door. A Ring stick up camera is located outside the backdoor. on the left-hand side. A Ring stick up camera covering the back deck is located outside above the French doors on the deck.

All new brushed Nickel doorknobs and hinges
New faucets in the bathroom sinks, new towel holders, toilet paper holders and shower curtain rods. (Brushed nickel)
Brand new Hall light going up to bedroom area.

Location was really good. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Can get to the beach on foot, though it was quite hot when visiting and still a bit of a walk, so we opted to drive most days. Checking in and out was simple. House was a nice set up with lots of space but it’s starting to show some wear from lots of renters. Nothing major though. We did have an issue with the WiFi not working for the first 1/3 of our stay but host was very responsive and able to get a technician out. Was a little worried about noise with all the condos connected but we didn’t hear neighbors on either side. Obviously we didn’t go to the beach to stay in the house all day so we used it mostly for sleep, showers, and staging point between activities. Overall, it was a nice place and worked well for us.

The WIFI did not work the entire time. The bedrooms were small and the mattresses were uncomfortable. The rugs were dirty and the air conditioning in two of the four bedrooms did not work well and those rooms were hot.With upgrades, this townhouse would be so lovely.

Convenient and comfortable

This townhouse is great for a family with all the necessary beach vacation amenities provided such as beach umbrella, and a wagon to transport beach chairs. There's driveway parking for one car and ample parking if you have a second car in guest spaces provided on property. This is walking distance to BB but keep in mind you must cross a busy 4 lane road to get to BB. This was a simple task for my three teenaged kids but may be more difficult with younger children. The house was cozy with four bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The primary bath was a bit dated with some of the shower peeling off. Still, it did not deter me from staying in the house or negatively impact my visit. I would stay here again if I were to visit BB. Thank you Lea for your responsiveness and hospitality.

Nice Large House Off Route 1 in Bethany Beach

We stayed a few nights at this house in the off-season in a big group - eight friends, a baby, and dog. The house was large, clean, well-stocked with cooking supplies and beach gear, and the host was very communicative and helpful, checking in multiple times during our stay. Good option if you don't mind staying a few blocks from the beach - it was about a 10 min walk across Route 1, or a 3 min drive.

Great location and amenities!

This property is walking distance to a public access beach. All beach needs are provided…chairs, toys, boogie boards and the means to get it to the beach! Restaurants, miniature golf and ice cream are a very short walk. Great location!! They have everything to meet your needs!!

Family time at Bethany Beach

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed and was a short walk to the beach. There was a wagon and numerous beach toys that were put to use and Lea was a very responsive host.

Always Too short!

Never have enough time to do all the things we want to do and this house had games and so much to offer. Great beach days.. but we did manage a round of mini golf.. I didn’t win this year but there is always next year. 😊

Good option for dog and family friendly trip to the beach

Townhouse was close to restaurants and Bethany Beach. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, pots, pans, etc. Beds were not the comfiest, but otherwise a good stay!

Family Get-together by Bethany Beach

Lea’s apartment is spacious and spotless, located in a quiet residential area across the highway from the beach. We stayed for a week during the 7/4 week. There is plenty of space for 7 adults and one baby. The kitchen is well stocked. We appreciated all the beach stuff available for our use. Lea was super responsive and provided good information on the local grocery stores, restaurants, etc. It was a memorable week staying at Lea’s apartment. Thanks for all.

A cute place for small groups

I stayed here with my Girl Scout troop for 4 nights and it was a nice place with plenty of space for the 8 of us. It was myself, my co-leader and 6 teenage girls. The walk to the beach wasn’t terrible and it was about a 15 minute walk to the boardwalk/shopping. Could use a few updates on kitchen supplies but was well stocked and clean. We loved all the beach supplies including a cart and chairs! Communication with the host was excellent! We would recommend this to families or smaller groups.

This property is awesome! The photos do not show truly how large the rooms are! Perfect layout for my husband and me and 2 of our daughters with their families. The hostess was very caring and quick to respond to messages. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Family Getaway

This property was great for a family reunion. Allowed us to stay within a 20 minute walk the beach for those beach lovers and the same distance to shopping for those that were not. Restaurants and mini golf just across the street. Kitchen was pretty well equipped for cooking and there are extra folding tables and chairs in addition to the dining table for large family meals, if that's your thing.

Amazing location

Was surprised on arrival to find we were supposed to bring linens. Reviewed all info but never found that detail. Property layout was terrific and proximity to beach and retail was amazing. As was noted in other ratings, cleaning was not up to expectations. I washed rugs and cleaned walls. Property had some wear and tear- owner was very responsive (malfunctioning deck umbrella was replaced quickly). Beach equipment was awesome as was grill. Beds were NOT comfy, but overall, very positive experience.

Bethany Beach Two Week Stay

We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely townhouse in Bethany Beach in the neighborhood of Bethany Shores. We love the location, as we walked to the beach into town just about every day! We especially loved being able to bring our small, 10 lb dog (Bichonpoo).
