"We really enjoyed this location. The staff is extremely friendly, the place was clean, the area was nice. We had absolutely no issues. I read reviews on Google before coming and got very nervous from bad reviews. But when we got to the location, I was SO CONFUSED to why they had bad reviews at all ! "Wonderful stay - perfect for our multi-generational "girl's trip." The staff was responsive and friendly, parking was easy and convenient, neighborhood was quiet but close to lots of restaurants. I won't stay anywhere else if I'm visiting Portland. "

"We booked a premium room with a king size bed, but what we received was a premium room with a queen size bed. When we call the front desk they blamed it on Expedia, and told us to call them. If it was more than and one night stay I would have made a bigger deal about it."

"Adorable Tiny Digs! We thought we’d give it a try. Cute tiny trailers built and decorated into tiny themed rooms. Just a different “little” experience for a one night stay near the Hawthorne neighborhood in Portland. Lots of cute little PROs and not too many CONs. PROs; Our tiny digs (Merlot) was clean, cute, very comfortable. You’re in a locked, fully fenced, secure lot in case you’re worried about that. Tons of great restaurants around in walking distance. "Front desk staff friendly & helpful. Room with a balcony great on a summer night! Room is clean & comfortable. I really appreciate the ceramic mugs & glassware! (I travel often & the trend for paper or styrofoam, even in upscale hotels is tacky & not good for the environment!) lots of dining & shopping options around. The Paramount was a great find. "It’s a very nice hotel and it was clean and comfortable, the area immediately around the hotel was ok and they had valet parking for an extra fee. The other parts of the area were not so safe or nice. "

"I really enjoyed my time at the KEX hotel! The rooms were kept nice and the bedding was so good. (I stayed in a shared room) The bathroom was clean, the food was good, the drinks were good! The staff were so kind! The only con is the parking…there isn’t a designated parking lot for the hotel and most of the time i had to circle around to find a spot.
