"I would have to describe this as the quintessential mountain cabin! It was just as described and as the photos indicate....the creek is literally right outside your door. To hear the running water was so peaceful and calming. I stayed with my spouse for an anniversary trip. We both really enjoyed it. Morning coffee on the back deck was great. My wife enjoyed jogging through woods - all she kept saying was how quiet it was. I fished in the stream - caught a fish too! We saw more deer...

"It was a very nice and peaceful stay. There isn’t a tv but there was board games and a river right in the back yard so need for a tv! Was able to spend quality time with the family with no electronics in the way! Perfect little get away! "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Bear cabin. The home was set in beautiful woodlands near a creek. There was lots of attention to details which made the stay enjoyable. Complimentary extras in the kitchen and bathrooms were provided. The hot tub was perfect for soaking each night overlooking the landscape. We went whitewater rafting, visited Blue Ridge and Mercier Orchards and then came home each night to relax. Great place to get away from it all. Highly recommend. "

"This was our second stay at this cabin. Kim is an excellent communicator, which makes it stress free. We had lots of rain this time, but the covered porch provided a completely dry space to enjoy the view. We ate all of our meals on the porch, as well as playing games. Our grandson loves the pool table! We highly recommend this cabin and will certainly be back!"
