"We had a wonderful stay. The home is large, spacious, and exceptionally clean. We didn’t end up cooking during our visit, but the kitchen is very well-equipped and easily suited for preparing full meals.The upstairs balcony was absolutely beautiful and a great place to relax. We truly enjoyed meeting Melly and her husband — they were incredibly responsive, kind and welcoming.The location was perfect. "Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region. The Lodge is down a dirt road that is very bumpy (like most roads in the region) and became very muddy because of the rain so we parked about 1/3 mile from the lodge...

"The property is a 5-6 minute walk to downtown so easy access to shops, bars and restaurants. This includes Maya Walk so getting there for caving and ruins tours was easy.
