"This is a beautiful bungalow, well equipped and perfectly located for visiting Benbecula and the Uists. Our host was extremely helpful and always very quick to respond. We had a ferry cancellation and he offered us an extra night as he had no other guests expected which was extremely kind. He also gave us lots of tips for places to visit and where to eat.The home is spacious and close to a supermarket, baker, butcher and a couple of places to eat. "We stayed for 2 weeks, whilst the rest of the country had a heat wave, we had a couple of nice days and the rest was misty and windy. "We loved the remote, tranquil location. Well positioned to visit Neist Lighthouse, Dunvegan, Skye Weavers and to enjoy an exceptional dinner at Three Chimneys. Cafe Lephin also is a very cool spot with a great playlist and makes for a nice mid-morning or afternoon spot for coffee, tea and scones. The general store is surprisingly well stocked! "Best family holiday for years. Nice touches here and there. If you arrived with nothing in the middle of the night you’d cope what with the spare/extra food and household essentials. Great to not have to be concerned about bedding or towels. Sorry we ended up with 3 towels in our laundry. Will launder and return. The views are amazing. The loch warm enough to swim in. And fish.
