"I haven’t been this far up north in a while so it was nice to experience each little town on the way up. Once my friend and I got there I noticed how peaceful and quiet the surroundings were. It was definitely a great place to spend a weekend enjoying the connections with friends and nature. "

"The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s huge with so much room for activities. It comfortably slept 8 of us with room to spare. We were able to grill and play games in the back without a care in the world. Will definitely be booking again!"

"Resort towns are naturally crazy places with a variety of features. This is a throw-back looking old motel, but extremely nice and new on the inside. close to everything without being right in the middle of it. Adjacent to the regional trail network, and the public park with beach. "

"Great location, cabin was very clean and fairly spacious. There's no ac but having windows open and using block fans made it work well. There were tons of bugs around, but that's to be expected. Would definitely come back!"

"We loved swimming, kayaking, canoeing and making s’mores, all at the rental. The sand was soft and water clear and cool. The lake house was very comfortable and well equipped. The master bed was super soft and comfortable. The views were amazing. We would love to come back in winter. "

"We enjoyed spending a long weekend at this unique property right off of beautiful Deer Lake. The space was clean and included many amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable, including a couple of paddle boards, a large griddle on the patio, and a lovely outdoor shower. I would recommend this property!"

"We enjoyed our stay in this cozy little cottage. It had everything we could possibly need. It was very comfortable. Randy and Shannon were the perfect hosts. Upon our arrival, they helped us with our luggage. Randy even went so far as to have another person available to help my husband into the fishing boat. The fishing boat was clean and Randy did his best to find the good fishing spots. He knows where the fish are. We will definitely return."

"This stay was everything and more than what I was thinking when my family and I booked our stay here. The place was clean with lots of amenities which made our vacation a lot less stressful. I was able to relax and enjoy time with our family. Our hosts did such an awesome job making the list of things to do in the surrounding area but in all reality we never needed to leave. Thank you for the memories!"

"This rental was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend. It was very clean and had all of the amenities you could need! It was also a short drive to town. The property was also beautiful and the house had the perfect up north charm with a touch of Texas. I wish we could have stayed longer! I would rent this place again!"

"We stayed at Dante's house for 3 nights in August and it was a blast. The house was well kept and had plenty of space for our family of 13. The game garage was super fun - ping pong / air hockey / foozeball and an arcade cabinet. The bunk house was fun for the younger girls they loved have their own space. The pool table in the basement got a lot of use, really nice table.Two notes to be aware of- Lake is a fishing lake not a swimming lake, muck bottom going far out. You need rafts to reach good...

"We chose this house for our family vacation because there were 16 of us and the house had 7 bedrooms and 4 baths. The bedrooms were a bit small and Spartan, but they worked for our family. I was a little leery about being within a block of downtown Walker, but that turned out to be a real plus, since people were able to walk to shop at fun stores, get Dairy Queen, and a grab some Starbucks coffee.
