"The waterfront with gazebo, paddle boat, canoe and sitting area are the main attraction at this basement suite. Unfortunately, we were rained out for 3 full days and spent our time inside, so offer that perspective. The kitchen is well-equipped. WIFI is good. We found the seating (1 love seat, 3 backless kitchen stools) somewhat uncomfortable for long periods of sitting (to read, for example). Upstairs noise is easily heard downstairs (footsteps, TV, vacuuming, flushing toilet drains). Washer...

"Lovely, comfortable home in Sydney River. We stayed with our three teenage kids for three nights while visiting family at various locations on Cape Breton. Convenient location, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. We would stay here again!"

"The house was fine, and clean. However, it could use some TLC in maintenance. We were also surprised to find that the advertised indoor pool was shared with other renters - that wasn't mentioned in the description. All in all it was fine, but the whole property should have been better described."

"We did not have high expectations, however it was very similiar to staying in student housing. We had to clean many dishes before we used them. It is a run down house. The queen beds were comfortable. Burn Mark on the sheets.!The shower was clean. Overall we were not comfortable in the environment and wanted to leave as quickly as possible."
