I Love This Neighborhood Because It’s Quiet But Boasts One Of The Most Beautiful Lake Views You Can Find In Chautauqua County Right From The Front Yard. There Is Also A Riding Stable And Farms Close By Yet So Close To The Lake 5 Minutes And Chautauqua 15 mins.
Getting Around
There Is No Public Transportation But You Will Need A Vehicle To Get Around.
Other Things To Note
There Is Quite A Bit Of Night Life Just 5 Minutes Away In The Village.

    Our family rented the house rather than hotel rooms for a family wedding. Worked out much better. They had everything we needed. And the view sitting on the front porch was awesome!

    The owner was easy to work with and very clear with her instructions, even leaving notes to make things easy . The house was a bit dated and the owner was working on updating the upstairs apartment so there materials stored around the house, but it was very clean and the view made the trip totally worth it. The house is centrally located and most towns are less than 20 minutes away. Bug spray is a must for the flies. The house is across the street and a little bit down from a cow pasture. It’s comforting to listen to their mooing, as well as watching the deer at night. We even woke up to a bunny on the front lawn. Overall, our trip was a very pleasant experience. If you’re looking for a comfortable house to relax in, this place is it.

    The property is a work in progress but is too crowded with furniture and Knick knacks There was no dishwasher as listed The shower is terrible and the towels need to be replaced Once all of the work is completed it has the potential to be a great space

    Some of us were housebound on Sat due to rain. But chairs in LR are horribly uncomfortable. Clock did not work. I would not have dishes that are not microwave compatible. There is no way six people can eat together. Bath and laundry very nice View awesome

    Wonderful charming house with plenty of space, well equiped, and a beautiful view of the lake. Just minutes from Bemus Point and Long Point State Park. Great area, fair price, efficient and communicative host. Would absolutely book again.

    THERE ARE FEW THINGS IN SERVICE INDUSTRULY I DO NOT TOLERATE NOR ACCEPT: GETTING A LIP FROM SERVICE PERSON, BEING THREATENED IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM BY THAT PERSON OR BEING EXPOSED TO UNCLEAN DIRTY ENVIRONMENT ESPECIALLY WHEN I PAY FOR CLEANING SERVICES SINCE THIS REVIEW DOES NOT ALLOW DETAILS, HERE ARE FEW BULLETPOINTS HOUSE IS NOT UP TO CODE AND IS A LIABILITY FOR SEASONED PEOPLE (FRONT STEPS, ABSENCE OF PATHWAYS) BIRD POOP IS NOT CLEANED ON THE PORCH CHAIRS FOR WEEKS LET ALONE DAY OF ARRIVAL, SPIDER WEBS IN EVERY CORNER OF THE HOUSE WITH DEAD VICTIMS (ALSO NOT CLEANED FOR WEEKS), ONLY ONE WORKING HEATER, LEAKING FAUCET, BROKEN SHOWER HEAD, RUSTY SHOWER SHAMPOO HOLDER, EXPIERED IN 2015-20 PANTRY SUPPLIES (LIABILITY FOR THOSE WHO MIGHT USE THAT), SANDPAPER STAINED TOWELS, GARBAGE UNDER SOFAS, DIRTY UNCLEAN WINDOW SILLS AND WINDOWS (ALL VIDIOTAPED AND PHOTOGRAPED) AND WHEN APPROACHED NICELY WITH FEW CONCERNS, CHANDRA, THE HOST, STARTED GOING WITH ALL KINDS OF EXCUSES AND ALL, TRYING TO MAKE VISITORS INFERIOR (WHICH I DO NOT CARE PER SE, IT WAS JUST VERY DUMB ON HER PART). INITIALLY I WAS NOT GOING TO LEAVE ANY REVIEWS, BUT WHEN SHE RELEASED OUR PHOTOS AND VEHICLE NUMBER TO AUTHORITIES TO MAKE SURE THAT WE ARE OUT OF THE PROPERTY AT 10 AM ( WE ARE EARLY BIRDS AND ALWAYS ON THE GO BY 9:30 AM ESPECIALLY WHEN OTHER COMMITMENTS ARE ON THE ITINERARY), THAT WAS THE LAST DRAW. THIS PERSON RUNS BUSINESS WITHOUT ANY CUSTOMER CONCERNS, NOR ACCOMODATION OF ANY RAISED ISSUES, SHE REBATTLES EVERY POINT (I WILL NOT BE SURPRISED THAT THIS REVIEW WILL HAVE WHOLE SAGA OF SOME EXCUSES AND ACCUSATIONS (WE HAVE VIDEOS AND PHOTOS HOW CLEAN HOUSE WAS LEFT BEHIND( NOT HER CLEAN(WHICH WAS ABSENT FROM THE START), BUT GUEST USAGE CLEAN) CHANDRA FOR SURE NEEDS TO EXIT SERVICE INDUSTRY, SHE IS INCOMPETENT, RUDE AND FOR SURE HAS AN ATTITUDE, WHICH SHOUD NEVER BE THE PART OF ANY SERVICE INDUSTRY

    We love staying here. It is a house surrounded by a couple farms, up on a hill overlooking Chautaqua lake. The view front the front yard every sundown is fantastic. There are activities for the family around the lake and a farmstead with pies around the corner.

    This was more then we expected. The view is fantastic. The house had everything we needed. Chandra the host was terrific to communicate with. We would give this place 10 stars if possible. We will hopefully be back if Chandra will have us.

    The house was charming and every detail made the stay so enjoyable from the fully stocked kitchen, the laundry onsite, the extra blankets for movie nights, to the remote control instructions and the flowers affixed to the front porch . The house was even better than described, the view of the lake such a nice treat and literally 5 minutes to the center of town (Bemus Point). I would definitely stay here again. I very much enjoyed my time!
