  • Creekside Cottage is nestled on 3 wooded acres in the Clear Fork Valley yet minutes away from numerous adventurous destinations. Tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet yet conveniently located near Snow Trails, Malabar Farm State Park, Mount Jeez, Pleasant Hill Lake, Mohican State Park, Shawshank Redemption and Mid-Ohio Raceway. Call it your home for the night or an extended stay. It's beautiful any time of the year.
    The space

    The master bedroom is located on the second floor which includes a comfortable California King size bed, beautiful electric fireplace, and smart television.


    The main floor consist of the second bedroom with a queen size bed, smart television, and closet. It is close to the main bathroom that features a gorgeous walk in tile shower and oversize LED mirror. The kitchen comes stocked with appliances and the utensils you would expect to find at home. Washer and dryer for you to use as needed. The third bedroom has a full-size bed.


    Relax in the living room next to the lighted fireplace or choose from one of the three decks outdoors overlooking the surroundings of the property. Move your dinner to the outside dining area or grill your favorite bbq before taking a soak in the new hot tub, it will be hot and ready for your enjoyment.


    Time moves slower here so sip your coffee next to the creek in the built-in chairs on the hillside. Pull up a seat next to the outside fire pit where you will find an endless pile of firewood provided for you as needed. For the nature/bird watcher enthusiast there are bird boxes throughout the trails and property. Take the time to enjoy the many sounds of nature such as the creek that runs through the entire length of the property. Take a peak at the tenants of the frog pond, whom migrated from the creek. Common wildlife visitors to the property include; wild turkey, deer, blue herring, and ducks just to name a few.

Adorable cottage in a peaceful setting with everything you need to relax and unwind. My husband and I decided to take a few days away to hike and enjoy the outdoors. The location of this cottage was close to several parks and restaurants. The cottage has everything you need to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. We enjoyed a fire, a nice walk through the 3 acre property, relaxing soaks in the hot tub and football on the TV. The owners had a huge library of DVDs, magazines/books and games. You could spend several days without leaving and not get bored. We will for sure be back.

This cottage was an excellent location for a quiet retreat for 3 full time working moms! Packing was made simple as the hosts had the house stocked incredibly well! They were also extremely responsive to my questions when preparing for the trip. The house was so clean and exactly what we were expecting. From a relaxing spot to reflect on the porch, relaxing in the hot tub, walking together on the trails at the back of the property, and coffee in the morning while sitting at the bench of the creek, all of us truly felt that life paused, in the best way, this weekend!

This cozy cottage had everything we needed! It’s a comfortable, well maintained property. Close to Snow Trails, shopping for essentials and major thoroughfares but tucked away nicely. Communication was great. We will definitely return!

My husband, daughter, and I spent a lovely long weekend . The property grounds are so peaceful and are surrounded by a creek on two sides. The house was cozy, very clean, and nicely decorated. Plenty of room for us to hang out together. All the things we needed in the kitchen were available. My husband enjoyed the hot tub solo and loved it. The little pond/water feature with fish was such a great touch. We had fun feeding the fish and watching for the lone frog that hangs out there. You are very close to Walmart and fast food if you need it! Highly recommend!

We would absolutely recommend this property! Close to the snow trails, and to restaurants but yet secluded and private. Very clean and had everything that we needed. We will definitely stay again. Thanks so much!

This property went above and beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived we were in awe of how beautiful and peaceful it was. This is a perfect little getaway location! The owners are very friendly and super easy to contact. The house was very clean and so cute! It feels so much bigger than the pictures portray or even how big it looks when you first pull up. The outdoor space was our favorite part about this location. It is perfect for entertaining and a great reminder of how good it feels to get outside and connect with nature. We needed to disconnect and get a break from the city and this offered that and so much more! We definitely plan on staying with them again!

lovely woodland property but close to I-71 exits. Beds were very comfortable. Available firewood was much appreciated. enjoyed walking the property- babbling brook, walking paths in the woods. hot tub was nice. We saw a Kuerig coffee maker in one of the kitchen photos and brought an ample supply of k-cups. FYI- kitchen has a regular coffee maker, so bring ground coffee.
