"We had rented this house previously and rented it again for a family gathering. It has been great both times we’ve rented. The house is nicely arranged for accommodating couples, families, and individuals, and provides a comfortable spot for spending relaxing time on beautiful Hat Island. The lot and picnic table across the road provide a wonderful view of Puget Sound, boats, and the state ferries."

"This site is nice. Definitely off grid. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, hard at a rock. The tioilet/porta potty to the site we booked was out of order so we needed to go to the next site over.We had to cut our trip sorry due to illness and couldn't get a refund."

"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

"Unit was very large with beautifully equipped kitchen. Bonus was it even had a dishwasher! Yard was partially fenced which was an added benefit if traveling with a pet. Only downside were the trains running in the middle of the night if you’re a light sleeper. Very clean and well maintained. Great value for the size and amenities. "

"The property was in a quiet location and was exactly what we needed for our stay in Whidbey! The bunk beds are a bit short and there’s no TV, but the vibes are legit! Would recommend!"

"The house and Lake Goodwin were exceptional and the entire family had a great time. The kids enjoyed being out on the lake until almost 10pm nightly to make the most of the long summer days. The home was close to Smokey Point and stores. Easily one of our best family vacations - would absolutely stay here again!"

"Check- in was a breeze! We were even allowed to show up just a bit early, and that really saved our day. While we didn’t take full advantage of that wonderful kitchen, everything we needed was there when we needed it! Our only real issue was that 2 of the showers were only pumping cold water. The 2 that were working was plenty for us though, and that sauna shower was amazing! Like standing under a waterfall. Lots of stairs, so bring comfortable shoes. The trains weren't an issue at all. "Cabin was clean and comfy with fabulous views. Access to beach and location on Penn Cove was spectacular. Only way the stay could have been better is if the skies were sunny and blue and the whales had swam by to say "Hello.". "

"What a find!! Ed's cottage is wonderful, the cottage itself is cozy and cute and the property has lovely views and beach access. Ed was very welcoming and kind and even included the tide schedule for our stay as well as local recommendations. Add in the close proximity to Port Townsend and the cottage had a full kitchen, it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be back, that's a guarantee. "

"Very off the grid. Nice walkable property. The bed in our tent was very uncomfortable, extremely hard. Head to cut our visit sorry due to illness but would go back with extra supplies to make the bed more comfortable."
