Welcome to the Fairhaven House! Situated in the heart of Old Fairhaven Historical district this is Bellingham’s premier luxury vacation rental for those who are looking to be steps from everything Bellingham has to offer.
Enjoy beautiful ocean view sunsets from the rooftop patio and calm morning sunrises in the private patio facing the Chuckanut Mountains.
Have so much fun in Bellingham and enjoy our home!
The space
The home is fully stocked with all the essentials for enjoying your vacation.
There are 3 bedrooms equipped with puffy mattresses, comphy brand spa linens and 3 full baths.

Third bedroom Two Twins (can convert to queen)
The kitchen is fully equipped with high end appliances, quartz countertops and massive island for everyone to gather around.

Walk or bike across the street and enter into Bellingham’s beautiful endless urban trail systems. With Galbraith trailhead 6 mins from your doorstep and the ocean just minutes walk away this home is exactly where you want to be.Don't feel like walking or driving? There is a bus stop 30ft from your front door that will take you anywhere you need to go.

Excellent location for walking to shops, cafes and breweries in Fairhaven. Grocery was just one block away for easy stock up. Short distance to drive to downtown Bellingham. Very comfortable home, well stocked with kitchen and bath amenities. Communication with hosts was great.

This VRBO definitely ranks as one of the nicest our family has stayed in, and we rent VRBO's regularly. The house was beautifully updated and very clean. The open kitchen, dining and living area was spacious and perfect for our family. The rooftop patio was beautiful and great way to enjoy the sunsets. Also, the location was perfect, just a short walk to downtown Fairhaven shops and restaurants. The only recommendation I would make, would be to provide a cooling fan for the downstairs bedroom, which would get a bit stuffy at night (it was the only bedroom without its own AC unit). Otherwise, communication with the host was great, and we would absolutely stay there again. Beautiful home!!!

Magazine-Worthy Stay in the Perfect Location

This home looks like it’s straight out of a magazine—beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches in every room. The living space was cozy and inviting, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed to cook a gourmet meal, which was a huge plus. We loved being able to walk into town, with the grocery store just steps away. Plus, we were a short drive from some truly stunning nature spots. It was the perfect place to relax and explore while celebrating my adult son's birthday. A memorable and joyful stay—we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Comfy urban living

Great place for our family of four adults to spend the holidays together. Very clean, well--equipped, convenient to town, prompt & helpful communication, plenty of space. Would love to return during nicer weather and enjoy the top deck.

Stylish & Well-Equipped Home for an Easy Stay

We had a wonderful stay in Fairhaven! The location was perfect—just steps away from great restaurants and shops. The home was beautifully styled, the kitchen had an impressive selection of tools, and the freestanding tub in the master bathroom was a perfect way to unwind. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing stay in Fairhaven

Property was just as pictured and the absolute perfect spot in Fairhaven for visiting family. Communication with our host Graham was easy, and there was even a pack and play for the baby. Plenty of cookware and stuff for cooking dinners, and everything you could need for a great stay. Will absolutely be booking again for family and highly recommend!

Nice house, great location

Nice house, rooms look as pictured. Ground floor bedroom has no AC or fan. Very tight for two adults. Some amenities lacking - no soap in bathrooms, no Kleenex, no scissors or peeler in kitchen. No coffee pot! (Did have Keurig). No fans. Generally very clean except master bath shower. Great location, park in the alley.

Nice place

This place was perfect for our family traveling to Bellingham for a graduation celebration. The house is super close to a grocery store and easy to get to WWU campus. Plenty of great restaurants nearby. The rooftop deck was nice for hanging out and we had everything we needed.

Very clean and excellent location

My daughters and I enjoyed staying at The Fairhaven House for a vacation. The location is fantastically located near a grocery store, cafes, restaurants and entertainment. Everything was within walking distance and the neighborhood felt very safe. The house was incredibly clean and inviting. The owner left a great binder that detailed the operations of the house details such as heat and blinds. We would definitely stay here again!

Fairhaven House

Pros: This very spare modern home felt spacious and was appointed beautifully. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked. Cons: Very loud due to all hard surfaces; diffuser fragrance was overpowering and induced a 36 hour headache, even with opening windows to air out. Also, so many remote controls for heating, operating blinds, etc.

Cozy Oasis a Short Walk from Town

Wonderfully appointed and conveniently located. After visiting the village of Fairhaven, we would walk back to the property, bundle up by the fireplace, and watch a movie. It was perfect for our grandma / granddaughter trip!

Wonderful stay!

We spent a long weekend at this property and loved it. It is beautifully done with plenary of space for a small group. The stocked kitchen made meals easy but the town nearby also had great restaurants and breweries in walking distance. Our kids spent hours at the local park. We had a truly wonderful trip!

Incredible stay, great location

Wow, this property is incredible, that's all I can say. The renovations they did are stunning and it was so clean and stylish with a modern design. We quite enjoyed our stay and the house made the perfect backdrop for our getting ready photos for my wedding. We had friends in our wedding party stay here while they were in town and then we used it as the spot to get ready for the wedding. This place is spacious! Never felt cramped even when we had 15+ people in there getting ready during the morning. The kitchen was stocked/loaded with tons of appliances, cookware and dinnerware. The property manager was also very easy to communicate with and when we couldn't find trash bags (the only thing the house didn't have!), they responded quickly and brought us a roll over that evening -- within a few hours. The outside yard space and the rooftop deck with fireplace and seating were perfect for cozy evening gatherings with friends after long busy days. Everything about this place is so charming. Would definitely rent this place out again when friends and family come into town.

Great house! Extremely clean with great amenities! Comphy bedding is wonderful!! Only one recommendation for improvement; house needs a real coffee pot!! Use of single Kreurig is not practical for families!! We will stay with you again I’m future visits to Bham!!

Perfect Getaway

Exceptional Stay and Property

We really enjoyed our family stay at this property. The location provides easy access to anything you would need or want to see in the area. Meanwhile, the home itself is truly exceptional. It’s clear that no detail was overlooked and that all finishes are high end. Everything was exactly as advertised in the listing and photos, but even better in person. Very nice hosts with excellent communication, and contactless check-in/out could not have been more seamless. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone considering a stay at this property.

A Luxe Getaway We Cannot Wait to Repeat

There are not enough positive words to describe this home! Location cannot be beat - walkable to any type of amenity you could ever want, and easy drive to downtown Bellingham, Chuckanut Dr, etc. Beautiful interior with luxury finishes. The beds are extremely comfortable (we sleep on a foam mattress at home as well) and love the weighted blanket toppers. Kitchen was very well stocked, though be sure to bring pantry staples like kosher salt and black peppercorns for cooking (they may have been there but we couldn’t find any). The yard is private and comfortable and our kids ( 4 & 2) loved playing on the grass with popsicles. The roof top deck was the PERFECT retreat for us parents after the kids went to bed, and we were lucky enough to catch multiple shooting stars before turning in. Easy walk to the urban trails, beach parks, shops, restaurants, and the Haagen is right around the corner. Just PERFECT! Absolutely adored this stay and cannot wait to return with the family, as well as with a few friends. (The private baths for each room is SUCH a luxurious touch.)

Stunningly beautiful and comfortable

Enjoyed a 5 day stay with friends in this lovely home. All finishes in this updated house are new and contemporary in design. The main living area has a new kitchen with huge island for gathering around. One bedroom with 2 beds and one full bath is on this level. Two en suite bedrooms are on the second level. One has a queen bed and one has a king bed. Climb another flight of stairs to enjoy the rooftop deck. The location is such that you can park your car (3 if need be) and walk one block to a grocery store and two blocks into the historic town of Fairhaven. Area is also quite bicycle friendly. Washer and dryer available. Nice lawn and seating area in side yard. Great for a family, couples, or friends. Will definitely stay here again.
