Welcome to our farm that has been in our family for decades! Bring the family and relax at this peaceful place!

There is 120 acres behind the house so feel free to explore and enjoy it as much as we have over the years!

Feel free to bring your horses and use the barn and pasture (extra fees may apply).

We are located within 3 miles of Belle Fourche and offer easy access to US Highway 85.

We do not allow parties. Please be respectful of our home. Thank you!

I needed a place with kitchen and laundry for my in-laws to stay for two weeks during their move here. Good communication prior to stay. Not far from Spearfish, so that was nice. House was ok. In-laws wanted to leave right away due to the smell and bugs.First problem was the map directions are slightly wrong, so you gotta figure out how to actually get there, and the house is not marked/numbered. Very difficult/dangerous to find in the dark. Second, walking in it smelled very musty/damp-reminded me of when you walk into a hotel room where the air has been off, so I figured the smell would go away--it did not. Every time I came in I could smell it. The entire place has carpet (incl kitchen) so I'm guessing there's some water damage/dampness under there. Third, the bugs in the house. Every day there were wasps/hornets/bees whatever you call them, gnats, flies, and spiders inside. One night a garter snake came in, probably looking to snack on the bugs. Fourth, it would have been nice to have some guidance on how to use the TV (not everyone is techy) and where the light switches are (check the closet). Lots of kitchen items, but many items were dirty/abused/stuff needs to be gone through and cleaned or disposed. Finally, and this is personal preference, but the owner was there just about every day working on an outbuilding right next to the house, which was a little awkward. OK stay if you don't mind feeling gross/dirty from the smell.

Great location & comfy beds!

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse Ranchette! It was clean & beds were comfortable. Kids enjoyed the books & games. Tracy was quick to respond to any questions. We would stay here again!

VRBO Ranchette

Easy to find with GPS, property was as described, fluffy towels, kitchen gadgets, spices, pots and pans anything you may need. It was quiet, had easy access to town and attractions in the area. I will definitely stay again if available. Only needs a bigger coffee pot.

Hunting trip

House was a cute little farmhouse. VERY well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hosts were very accommodating to all of our needs. Only feedback I would give is that we wish the coffee maker was bigger. It was a small 5 cup hotel like machine.

Comfortable stay!

It was a bit tricky finding the location but once we called we got help immediately. Very comfortable place. Reminded us of staying at our parents or grandparents homes. Nice and clean, bed was comfortable, nice shower plus we really enjoyed the recliners at the end of the day!

Spacious and comfortable

We would definitely stay here again!! Very cute, easy to contact host, and enough room to have friends over in the evening. The only complaint is that it is difficult to find, the address does not pull up the location of the house, so having a pin sent would have made it easier to locate.

We got to enjoy Belle Fourche, rodeo and fireworks then go "home" to quite relaxing times. The house was well sopplies with necessities. Towels, beds and kitchen were good. We would return if we came through. The bedrooms could use black out shades to sleep late.

Memorial Day 2024

We loved that we could stay right outside of Belle Fourche, perfect location for us on our annual Cemetery tour of the Black Hills. We spend most of our time decorating graves from Belle to Rapid and then one day trip to Lemmon. The house was clean and well stocked with linens and towels. It was nice to have a kitchen so we weren't buying breakfast. Two bathrooms was also very convenient. The only problems we encountered was there is only one exit, the front door. Also, there are nice shades in living room and kitchen, but the bedroom on the east side of house could use a better shade because it gets light there around 4:45 am when sun comes up. We ended up covering the window with foil so we could sleep better. Ants in kitchen around sink, but what can you do. All and all a decent stay.

We came to the area to visit family & the farmhouse was a perfect location to stay. It was as pictured, it was clean, & it was quiet. The beds were really comfortable, too! The kitchen had supplies to easily make our meals and the games in the closet were fun to play when it rained. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Simplicity is all we need

This stay was perfect for our group, roomy and nothing fancy. Thought road traffic would be a problem. but was not at all. Location to Spearfish not far at all. Owner responded to all inquiries immediately. Home was well stocked with essentials. Thanks for having us.
