"What a wonderful place! Perfect for our dogs, easy walk to restaurants and waterfront. They even have bikes! Overall our stay was exceptional. We will stay there again and would highly recommend Tilted Cottage to anyone considering a stay in Washington!"

"Great little place on the water. Quiet neighborhood, friendly locals, and super nice host. Its a definite gem. Restaurant at entrance to neighborhood was a great breakfast spot. Get it to go and enjoy it on the porch overlooking to the water. Bring your boat just keep in mind the clearance of the bridge is 5-6ft and the ramp is just on the other side. "We loved the cuteness of this tiny cabin. Two things stood out to us. Having the new memory foam mattresses; using slats rather than a full sheet of plywood can be uncomfortable. Also, the TV is the size of a large laptop computer and my iPhone would t scan the QR code from the bed. Each time we wanted to sign in to our apps you need to get closer to the TV. Two minor things, that would make a huge difference. So friendly at check in and while at the campground store. They had great...

"Easily one of the best vacations ever spent with my family! There was always something to do in this little oasis. Fishing, boating, even dolphin paid us a couple visits. The 5th wheel was really nice too, slept like a baby. I think we turned the tv on twice. Tammy and John are extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful.. two genuinely awesome host! We will be back! "

"We had everything we needed. The space was just the right size for 3/4 people. The outside was a little cluttered but didn’t bother us. I would offer a couple of recommendations: 1. Having some firewood for the wood stove would be a great addition. 2. A pullout couch would be better than the futon. 3. Need some space to hang hunting gear to help keep things better organized. We truly had a great time and space was great hope to come back next year!"

"The Sterling House checks all the boxes. Pet-friendly (our dog loved running around in the fenced backyard), clean, sooo cozy, and convenient to everything. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen is well-stocked. We felt very much at home there. There are two parks within walking distance (one less than 1/8th mile), it's walkable to downtown, and the street is historic, quiet, and lovely. The view from the deck is incredible! The river is closer to the house than it appears in the listing...

"Perfect location for exploring Pungo Lake. The house is clean, and everything works as expected. Check-in is seamless and easy."

"We chose this property because it was on the water and close to relatives. It was clean and as pictured with a surprise extra room! The location is quite a way off the beaten path so one needs to go prepared with necessary food items. The store on the property is great for ice cream and a few snacks. We enjoyed spending time with family and boating to Washington one day for lunch. The staff is WONDERFUL!!"
