HORRIBLE STAY

The rooms were okay. Pathetic service during breakfast, the food is basically for the Chinese occupants and it's a first come first serve basis ,it's like a school once the food is finished if you didn't get that's your problem no effort even to meet the guest satisfaction. We didn't get the value of what we paid for.

Verste hotellopplevelse så langt

Ingen kunne svare på noe, bare henviste til "the boss". Dette var et stykke Kina midt i Mosambik. Vanskelig å sjekke inn. Kunne ikke skrive mat og drikke på rommet fordi vi hadde brukt Hotels.com og forhåndsbetalt. Ansatt på hotellet låste opp og listet seg inn på rommet og sprang alt hun kunne da hun ble oppdaget. Det rant gjennom taket mange steder i resauranten og flommet vann inn gjennom verandadøra på rommet. Fikk ikke opp døra til rommet og personalet brukte mer enn 30 min på å komme inn sent på kvelden. Dette er tvers igjennom kinesisk hotell, med kinesiske tegn på fjernkontroller og kvitteringer. Ingen kunne ordne noe, bare henviste til sjefen som henviste videre. Dette er et hotell som burde fjernes fra Hotels.com. Verste hotellopplevelse så langt.

Should be awesome but isn’t

The the place looks awesome as you drive up, but the pool isn’t clean the lifts don’t work you can’t get access to the beach as the won’t open the gates They messed up with the booking and then tried to charge me for something that they could explain what they were charging for

I booked this for 2 of our business travellers and their experience was not good. Feedback is that the facility is totally run down with poor infrastructure and terrible food

Dsapontado com a gestão,hotel confortável!

Um hotel 5 estrelas que não consegue fornecer um café as 9.30 porque estão sem energia há mais de 2 horas,e não têm soluções nem para fritar ovo! O que estava disponível eram porco e língua de vaca acompanhado de arroz,onde já se viu isso????So chinês mesmo,mas aqui é Moçambique!!Ate o pão era seco,e nem queijo tinha,uma vergonha de serviço!!!

Overnight in Beira

Pros: Huge rooms with view of grounds and ocean - quiet, remote, balcony off bedroom. Cons: Taxi cost from property to airport $15 for 7 minute drive - cost less to Beira Terrace across town. Communication is an issue. Prepaid may not show and can be an issue, so checkin can take longer than normal. Rooms quite a distance from reception and pool - at least mine was. First room had no electric - 2nd room fine. TV has 2 English language channels: Fox News and BBC world news, rest are Chinese with 2 Portuguese and reception not good. Bathroom is large, with both tub and shower, but glass wall between bedroom/bathroom that precludes privacy from bedroom a bit disconcerting. This is a HUGE property with lots of employees and security, but seems almost deserted - was built by Chinese and includes mini mall and theme park, both now abandoned. Chinese built major road so maybe that's why this property built?

Avoid at all costs

Really awful hotel and one to avoid at all costs. We booked a suite as a couple through hotels.com but on arrival this was not available due to a lack of electricity. The hotel refused to refund the difference when downgrading us to a standard room. The room was poorly cleaned, dirty sheets and a balcony door that wouldn't lock. The suffering continued through the night with two power cuts causing the A/C to fail and the room got very hot. At 4am the peacocks began to call to each other, a loud and unpleasant noise which prevented any further deep sleep from 4am until our alarms went off at 7am. Having slept in a dirty, and increasingly warm room I was desperate for a shower. However, overnight the water had failed and we were not even able to flush the toilet let alone have a shower. The reception staff weren't able to assist in any form of refund for what is quite possibly the worst hotel I've experienced. And at $200 for the night? Utterly atrocious experience.

Would do it again for sure.

Went and visited some old friends. The hotel was great and really nice. Wifi was a little spotty and had to be in certain places to receive service. Very clean and very friendly and helpful.

My first trip to Beira after 30 years! Arrived at the Hotel fascinated by the outdoors of the premises. Unfortunately the allure was brought to an end soon when I found the bedsheets were stained with footprints, and the pillows smelled of body odour. Soon after calling the receipt the security guard came to escort us to a different bedroom. During the ptocess there was a blackout and we had to drag around our bags along the corridors in the dark since their generator was operated manually we had to wait 10-20 minutes for the emergency lights. After strolling around the corridors with the guard backwards and forwards, we made sure the second bedroom had clean bedsheets, after the guard left I had a closer look and there were blood stains on a small area

Une honte absolue pour un tel tarif

Enorme complexe qui revendique 5 étoiles mais n'en vaut pas plus de 2. Le complexe est loin de tout, donc sans voiture on ne peut rien y faire. Ce n'est ni plus ni moins qu'un complexe destiné à loger les ouvriers et techniciens chinois qui travaillent sur les nombreux chantiers de la province. Le service est désastreux, presque personne pour parler anglais, la nourriture est très moyenne, servie sans entrain et souvent froide. L'hygiène des chambres est honteuse: draps tachés, serviettes de toilettes usées jusqu'à la corde et trouées. Propreté de la chambre mal faite. Le personnel n'est pas managé. Lorsque j'ai fait des remarques sur la propreté de la chambre et des draps, rien n'a été fait pour corriger. Bref, à plus de 110 euros la nuit, c'est une honte. Le wifi ne fonctionne que dans le hall, et même là, ça coupe toutes les 20 secondes, rendant toute connexion impossible. Enfin, des installations techniques totalement dépassées (pour un hôtel inauguré en 2014...): Coupures de courant plusieurs fois par jour, pendant plus de deux heures parfois, prises électriques arrachées des mur sans réparation, sections entières de couloir sans éclairage (toutes les ampoules étaient grillées), etc... A déconseiller absolument !

Excellent room with sea view

We had a pleasant stay, with a very nice room with sea view and very convinient parking. Checking and checkout was the fastest ever. Room was clean and ac worked. There was no Wifi but turns out to be a blessing to make the holiday even more precious as we talked more.

Dålig service i en stad utan aktiviteter.

Dålig service. Samma låt spelas på repeat i lobbyn. Inga aktiviteter. Inga förslag på aktiviteter. Ingen turistservice. Oljud och pipande ljud hela tiden. Inget gym, inget biljardrum- trots att det sägs på hemsidan. Dålig frukost. Detta ställe har en bra bit kvar innan de kan kalla sig femstjärnigt hotell eller ens turistvänligt hotell.

I wrote to you a couple of times without any answer: I saw in your website the room rate $114 but my credit card was debited $133 and when I checked in I understood that the real room rate was $100.

Very horrible stay

We stayed 7 nights in this hotel. We cannot receive the wifi in the room. Even when you switched the "Do not disturb" signal, the staff would come in to your room for housekeeping. And there's very serious problem which the electricity shut off at night. The power shut off at 2am every night until 6am, with NO air conditioning and lights. You should never pay this amount of money to stay in a hotel with such a bad condition.

hotel tem algumas qualidades,porem nao tem wifi no quarto.cafe da manha horrivel muito fraco...e o pior um rato caiu na mesa ao qual estava tomando cafe,inadmissível!!!nunca passei por essa situação.hotel de chineses nao deram a minima pela situação.nada de desconto.em outro momento na recepção outro rato andando no teto da recepção...o quarto ate e bom...mas as demais coisas muito fraco.....fora esse bendito rato...

Needs Loads of work

Accommodation needs major upgrades , food was really bad , staff battled to understand English. I waited over 2 hours at the airport for the hotel shuttle which I had booked two days previously. The hotel needs serious attention to detail , the grounds need work done to them. I will not be staying there again, ever

Überraschung

Sehr schöne lage, schöne Zimmer, aber einiges lässt zu wünschen übrig. Kakalaken im Bad, kein Föhn, usw. Restaurant, schlechte Bedienung, überwiegend Chinesisches Essen. Morgen Kaffee, nur Pulverkaffe. Säfte Behälter leer, alles nicht so wie man in fünf Sterne Hotels erwartet. Bin sehr enttäuscht. Könnte noch weiteres schreiben, habe aber keine Lust mehr dazu.

China?

This hotel is like stepping into China. No African feel about it all. Chinese breakfasts. Beds are extremely hard. No wifi in rooms. Very clean hotel if only they can westernise it a bit with a proper breakfast and wifi in rooms. Beds are so hard it feel like sleeping on the floor.
