Ja nu var det ju så att Lotus Place Hotel flyttade oss fyra dagar innan avresa till ett tämligen kass hotell. Vi ville specifikt bo på Lotus eftersom vi fått det rekommenderat och det ligger vid Beihai Lake, ett vackert om än något tursitigt område. Vi hamnade således på Soluxe Courtyard Hotel, något som på pappret ser ok ut. Detta hotell låg 15-30 min gångväg från Beihai Lake men man kunde även gå 5 min och ta en buss. Rummen var små och trånga och luktade inte helt fräscht men det gick att bo där. Frukosten däremot var bland det sämsta jag upplevt. Har ätit bättre kinesiska frukostar i Thailand. Och de europeiska frukosträtterna var ett skämt. Juicen var som sås och man fick vara glad om kaffet inte var genomskinligt. Det som skulle vara varmt var nätt och jämt ljummet. Tror inte att personlaen åt den maten själva om jag säger så. Personalen i receptionen var ganska trevlig och det fanns en fördel och det är att hotellet ligger precis bredvid en tunnelbana.

Lotus Place Hotel

The hotel was really awful. The pictures on the internet was not the same as the real pictures on the hotel. When we arrived we thought that we had come to the wrong hotel but unfortuantly we had not. The view from the hotel was awful, bascially looking into a garage. The room was so small (and we had still booked a deluxe room) that you almost got clastrofobian. The rooms, especially the bathroom was dirty. The elevator was about to broke down and the biggest joke was the breakfast. We had payed for a breakfast buffé but the only thing that was served at the breakfast was white bread, butter, marmalade, thé and coffe and nothing else. The only good thing was that it was located in the hutongs, an area that is really great to experience. But we are sure that you could found a better hotel located in the hutongs. Nutage is a great restuarng that we would recommend. Cozy atmosphere and great staff as well as amazing food!

hotel terribile, merita al massimo 2 stelle. l arredamento è di design e rispecchiano le foto, sembra moderno ma è terribilmente sporco. ho faticato a passarci una notte. terribile

若者には特にお勧めです！

まず立地ですが、胡同です。 バーからも徒歩圏内ですのでお酒好きの若い方には不自由しない場所だと思います。 ただ、最寄の地下鉄の駅から多少離れていますので、歩くのが苦手な方はタクシーを利用されたほうが良いかも知れません。 ホテルのスタッフの対応ですが、丁寧だったと思います。 私は中国語NGですので、英語を使いました。 英語が通じないフロントスタッフもいましたが、一生懸命さが伝わったので好感が持てました。 部屋も値段の割には綺麗でしたし、毎日ベッドメイキングもしていただいたので、気持ちよく眠れました。 お湯も普通に出たので、シャワーも好きなだけ浴びました。 部屋が１階だったので、窓から后海を眺めることはできませんでしたが、このホテルを選択して正解でした。

Great hotel for price and location

I came to visit Beijing from the U.S. We stayed at the Lotus Hotel and were pleased with it. I read several reviews that said people didn't like it there but the rooms and hotel were very clean and modern. The hotel and rooms were air conditioned and very cool. I was there in August and it was very hot and humid so the air conditioning was great. The hotel is right beside hohai lake which is a beautiful lake with lots of great night life. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was their breakfast. The breakfast was very simple. Cereal, juice, bread, and coffee. As far as a very comfortable, clean, and modern hotel....this is your place. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Location & Views - Modern Interior

We splashed out on this hotel, and paid a little more then we would have liked so we were expecting great things. Its about 15mins walk from the nearest subway station, but the area is gorgeous, really nice lake and lots of restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops, etc. The hotel has three floors (we asked to be on the third in checkin) and we had a nice view of the lake.. but i think from the 1st or 2nd floors view would not be great as there is a small (1floor) building and carpark between the lake and the hotel. The room was very modern, with nice lighting and the shower was lovely, really big and nice shower head. I have no complaints with the room, apart from the only mirror is in the bathroom. TV is all Chinese channels apart from english news and sport. no movies sadly. The breakfast was disappointing (really glad we didn't have to pay extra for it) all that is offered is Cereal, toast, coffee and juice.. hard boiled eggs were offered on one of the days. Apparently the hotel offers coffee, juice and cookies between 3-5pm, but we were never in the hotel at this time to see. I used the dry cleaning service and it cost me 2.70GBP +15% tax for one pair of shorts, which i think is a little expensive? although i dont usually use this service so have nothing to compare. Overall, a very nice hotel and great location, but a little over our normal budget.

hotels.com의 지도가 실제와 달라 찾는데 아주 힘들었습니다. 반드시 다른 사이트(구글지도 등)에서 지도를 다시 한 번 확인해 가야 합니다. 냉장고가 없는 것 빼고는 무난했습니다.

Lotus Place Hotel i centrala Bejing

Hotellet liger nära drumtower mitt bland Hutongerna i en härlig del av Bejing. Enkelt men med de man behöver och trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Nära till många barer och restauranger och ett livligt uteliv, men ändå tyst och lugnt. Kommer att bo här nästa gång vi åker till Bejing, Mycke prisvärt.

Hotel Lotus Place à Beijing: au bord du lac

Situation très agréable, au bord du lac Hou Hay. Le métro est un peu loin à pied (environ 20 minutes) mais que ce soit autour du lac ou dans la rue des deux tours, c'est plutôt sympa. Les chambres sont très propres, navettes payantes pour l'aeroport, les personnes de l'accueil parlent à peu près l'anglais mais quand même assez pour qu'on se comprenne. Globalement j'ai passé une semaine agréable dans cet hôtel, parfois un peu bruyant, mais globalement correct. Petit Déj en buffet, très basique (jus d'orange, café ou thé, tartines et céréales) mais correct.

Nice hotel

This Hotel was simple, modern, comfortable, clean and matched exactly our needs. The hotel service was really helpful, so there is no reason to complain at all. The Hotel itself is a silent and relaxed place. But when you go out you find a beautiful lake, lots of nice bars, cafes and restaurants in western as well as in asian style. When you walk around you find yourself easily in the mid of Hutongs in narrow streets. Only the way to the subway station is a little far, but you can find a taxi or bus nearby. We really enjoyed our few vacation days and one of the reasons is this nice Hotel.

Comfortable, enjoyable, relaxing

Very enjoyable stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and roomy (we were fortunate to be put at the end of the hotel, so slightly bigger room than most). Loved the neighborhood as well. About 15 minute walk to subway - not bad, but can be done in less than 5 minutes via taxi.

Simple, comfortable hotel right next to Houhai

Although a bit out of the way, the hotel was right next to Houtai. You can't ask for anything better than that at that price in Beijing. Good stuff: 1. Inside was nicely furnished. 2. Great coffee (they have a Jura espresso machine in the dining area) 3. The room was simple yet comfortable. The shower room was spacious. 4. Location. Location. Location. Don't need to say more. 5. Internet was readily available.

Good place to stay

This hotel was in a good location situated on the lakes. Good position and not noisy at night. Hotel rooms clean and staff very helpful although only one receptionist spoke broken English.They did have a computer programme for translating any queries or questions. Hotel offered a free pick-up at airport which saved money.Good place to stay and value for money

Ruhige Lage am See

Die Lage des Hotels an einem der Seen ist einzigartig. Allerdings ist das Hotel von Aussen nicht zu erkennen, da es in einem alten Bürogebäude untergebracht ist. Von aussen sieht es daher grauenhaft aus. Innen ist das Hotel jedoch sauber und schön hergerichtet.

Difficile à trouver, extérieurs peu flatteurs, mais la situation est parfaite, le personnel très à l'écoute et bilingue anglais, un ordinateur avec internet est à disposition.
