"Room and bed was clean, shower sink hoever clogged. Bed light not working. Very noisy pub until late, also much street noise during the night. Convenient on-site parking and nice location near railway station and restaurants. All and all highly overpriced."
"My stay at Church End Cottage was absolutely fabulous I have to say that. A very cozy stay in this garden house place which I found to have very pleasant window views as well as a very clean and tidy interior. Absolutely a place I'd go back any time as well as happy to recommend it to anyone which likes rather rural and remote bed and breakfast stays. Speaking of breakfast, that was amazing, all home made. Just a gem!"

Bas and his chef Derek bent over backwards to accommodate during what was a very difficult time for them at the tail end of the second lockdown.
With no other staff to support them, and making preparations for the reopening, they still found time to make sure I had access to evening meals and breakfast, despite the fact they had no reason to open the kitchen, just to serve me.
