Recently renovated house in 2010 and 2016 (new wall painting, kitchen and furniture), the house is furnished for a maximum of 4 people, Ideally located in the old town.

Free parking can be available for free close to the property.
for parking inside the historic city center or access to close public parking a card can be issued on request (10euros / day or 30 euros / week).

Located 200 meters from the famous hospices de Beaune, 1 km form the train station, the house will permit you to visit Beaune on foot. it s a ideal base to visit the famous vineyards of the Côte de Beaune or Côte de Nuit or divover some of the 1200 'climats' (vineyards parcels) that could become a Unesco world heritage in 2015.

Easy parking near the house; quiet location; near all attractions (restaurants, museums, ...) and facilities (shopping centers, ...)

Situated within a 17th century edifice, the «Gîte des Remparts» is an entirely independent 65m2 habitation with a private terrace.

Completely renovated in 2010, the gîte’s location within the « Rempart » allows you to appreciate both the conveniences of being in the town center, and serene and relaxing surroundings.

Ground floor :

- a fully-equipped kitchen, looking out onto the spacious living room, complete with 1 double sofa bed.

- a 12m2 bedroom with 2 twin beds and its own private bathroom

First Floor (upstairs):

-a 20m2 bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom.

- access to private terrace, equipped with a full set of garden furniture.

Basement:

- a beautiful cellar with arched ceilings, furnished for your private wine tastings.

Wonderful stay in the centre of Beaune!

Our host was accommodating and welcoming. The space was well equipped and comfortable for 4 people, the beds too were very comfortable. Located in the centre of town, we simply stepped out our door and into the cobblestone streets:). We highly recommend!

Perfekt beliggenhed

Vi havde nogle dejlige dage i Beaune. Kort gå afstand til alt, gratis parkering v Lidl, lækre restauranter og god stemning. Lejligheden passede lige til fire voksne. Vi tilbragte alle morgener på den hyggelige tagterasse.

In the heart of Beaune

My husband and I stayed here after a 2 week car trip in France. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the city, walking distance to everything. It was very convenient to have access to a washer and dryer. The beds and bathrooms were clean but the kitchen could use a little attention. Dry goods and other foods left on counters and cupboards.(ie. 3 partially used olive oil bottles) uses up all the little counter space there is. Although there are 2 ‘bathrooms’ (sink &shower) there is only one toilet and it is downstairs. Anyone using the upper bedroom will need to go down the spiral staircase to the toilet. A little difficult communicating with the host. We were given wrong code to the key box but things were resolved. You can pull your car up to the door in an alleyway and back it out. As stated there is a free city parking a 15-min walk away. Would consider staying here again.

Great location!

This apartment was perfect for our Burgundy stay. We walked everywhere in town and on the outskirts too. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and the rooftop deck is attractive and has a nice rooftop view. Free, patrolled, parking (Bretonnière) is a 7 minute walk. There’s a closer lot, Louis Very, that we used to walk our luggage from-since a car was blocking the tiny alley the apartment faces. The host was kind and accommodating and came by to orient us. Washer and dryer are great! Note that there are shower rooms up and down but the toilet is downstairs. All modern nice. Beds comfy. We’d stay there again! Easy driving to so many things in the region and Beaune is a delightful town.

BEAUTIFUL

Such a cozy place, everything is spotless. The bed was vey comfortable. Our host came to visit us upon our request to inquire about places to see and restaurants too. Benjamin was extremely helpful, had a great time just talking with him. I would return back to his property in a heart beat. The town was exciting, lots of history. Make no mistake, ya gotta go to his place.

Beaune at your doorstep

Benjamin is a great host. Met us at the train and introduced us to Gites de Remparts. A superb location and a beautiful apartment. All the amenities as per the listing. The rooftop veranda is without compare. And Benjamin has an outstanding knowledge of Burgundian history and the great wines of the region. I highly recommend a stay at this grear VRBO.

Très agréable maison à Beaune

La maison est très bien située dans un quartier tranquille mais central de Beaune. La terrasse est un endroit particulièrement agréable ! La maison est bien équipée et bien pensée, et c’était toujours un plaisir d’y retourner. L’hôte était très gentil, très disponible et a pu nous donner de nombreuses informations très utiles pour profiter au mieux de notre séjour. Un grand merci !

City center with attentive host

The apartment was comfortable and the AC was much appreciated during the hot days of July. The host was responsive by phone and even took us to the train station because taxis and buses are NON EXISTENT! Be sure to drive to Beaune when you visit this charming property.

Der richtige Ort

In einer Seitenstraße gelegen, keine 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel de Dieu entfernt, im historischen Altstadtring gelegen, ist das Haus der ideale Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Umgebung. Es gibt viele gute Restaurants direkt um die Ecke. Das Haus bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten, die es braucht, um sich Wohl zu fühlen. Komplettiert wird der positive Eindruck durch einen sympathischen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber.

Location was great. Had a fully stocked kitchen and a washer and dryer that was much needed after 12 days. Only suggestion would be to give the proper code for the door before arrival so guests do not have to reach out and wonder if they are in the right locaion when the code does not work.

Gut gelegene Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist gut mit Geräten (Induktionsherd, Mikrowelle, Spülmaschine, Wasserkocher, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Klimaanlage etc.) ausgestattet. Leider haben wir sie nicht sauber vorgefunden. Entgegen der Beschreibung im Online-Inserat ist das zweite, im Dach befindliche Schlafzimmer mit dem Wohnzimmer verbunden und nicht durch eine Tür getrennt. Sehr gute Lage in der Innenstadt von Beaune, direkt an der mittelalterlichen Stadtmauer.

An ideal property for two adults or a family

Ideally situated in a quiet setting in centre of town with the best equipped kitchen we have ever encountered. Enjoyed our stay very much , especially sitting and eating on the terrace. Only disappointment was that downstairs windows had to have blinds down all the time for privacy and security. An alternative screen to the roll down blind would allow natural light inside. Google maps couldn't find the property on the Remparts. Suggest anyone driving there sets destination as Hotel de Cep. Rempart entrance is on right at barrier on street just before this.
