Professional musicians who ran the café-concert that once occupied the premises (private concerts are possible during your stay), Eddy & Estelle welcome you to an authentic old village bistro that has retained its old-world charm, nestled in a charming 19th-century town house that has been fully restored. In the heart of a picturesque little village typical of the Haut Charolais region, nestled against a hillside & on the edge of a forest on a well-exposed western slope. A "High Place of Resistance" during the Second World War, with, among other things, a city stadium for children (located a stone's throw away) & a bucolic 15-hectare fishing pond that is very famous, Beaubery has a sublime rural & natural setting preserved by gentle mountains, a succession of soothing wooded valleys of pastures & meadows dominated by the wooded hills of the surrounding mountains. Superb landscapes & panoramic viewpoints to discover in the surrounding area. Very spacious cottage. A warm, country feel blends the original, unusual bistro atmosphere with a hint of vintage (the original bar and café remain), a tasteful musical decor, a wooded mountain feel, and a colorful pop ambiance. A pleasant and intimate enclosed courtyard nestles at the back of the house, a "guinguette" style, including a large terrace, a pétanque court, and a large sheltered courtyard. Composition: Semi-detached village house on 2 levels. Wi-Fi. Electric heating. Stay in an authentic old "café-concert" completely revisited into a comfortable group holiday - equipped among other things with a pétanque court, a billiards table & several bedrooms with private bathrooms - in a 19th century village house nestled in the heart of a charming little typical village, 12 km from Charolles, the "Venice of Charolais", famous city of Charles the Bold (all amenities on site). Magnificent preserved surroundings, nestled in the heart of the countryside of the upper Charolais in the hollow of a sublime rolling setting of gentle mountains, succession of bucolic bocage, wild forests, ponds & meadows, not far from the mountain of Saint-Cyr (highest point of southern Burgundy) & the first wooded foothills of the Beaujolais massif, partly classified & protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" for their rich ecosystems. Close to the Romanesque churches circuit, on the route of numerous marked "green walk" footpaths winding through nature (5 departures from the village / very rich network of hiking trails of the same type to discover in the area), 7 km from the GR7, around ten km of 2 referenced "favorite cycle loops" (cycling routes of 63 & 88 km), 22 km from the greenway & the famous Canal du Centre (to discover by boat or on foot), around thirty km from the Côtes Mâconnaises & around forty km from the first vineyards of Beaujolais (crossed by the "Burgundy Wine Routes"). Privileged location at the crossroads of Charolais-Brionnais - cradle of the AOC of world-renowned cattle and sheep breeds - & Clunisois (both labeled "Pays d'Art & d'Histoire"), Mâconnais & Beaujolais, territories rich in absolutely magnificent landscapes and an exceptional historical heritage. Ideal for exploring: 17 km from La Clayette, 25 km from Paray-le-Monial (and its famous basilica), 31 km from the famous abbey city of Cluny, 37 km from Charlieu, 41 km from Digoin (river marina connected to the Canal du Centre and "quiet canal" linking Digoin to Roanne), 41 km from Marcigny, 45 km from the sumptuous landscaped jewel of the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson labeled "Grand Site de France", 47 km from Mâcon (Mâcon Loché TGV station 45 km / Creusot TGV 49 km) & 50 km from Beaujeu (historic capital of Beaujolais).
