platja prop de Hundestrand

The hotel is in a convenient location to Munich HBF station, easy 5 min walk. The neighbourhood has ALOT of Middle Eastern restaurants and grocers, but we felt safe enough walking around. Walk to Marienplatz is about 15 min walk, easy and flat. We had a studio room, it had a bedroom with one bed (size was smaller than a Queen) a little cupboard on the wall with a few shelves and a small hanging space. There is a separate living room with couch for 2 and a foot stool with a coffee table, a desk with chair and a shelf for suitcase with safe underneath. The bathroom off the bedroom has a shower, toilet & vanity and a shelf above to store toiletries. My issue with this room was the shower, it is raised about 2 foot above ground level (who knows why), so it was a big step up and I found difficult, not good for elderly or anyone with mobility issue, there is no hand rail either. I did complain about the shower on arrival but there was no alternative so I managed with help from husband to get out safely. The hotel offers free hot drinks, there is a machine at reception and also the floor below where breakfast is. Breakfast had a good selection of cereals, grains, nuts, breads, scrambled eggs, baked beans, sausage. There is also good meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurts. Hot drinks and juices,

Our stay was great! Rooms small but comfortable! The breakfasts were wonderful! Huge selection! Friendly staff & very helpful! Only complaint was that the pillows were flat & uncomfortable! They should be replaced!
