"The house is old but that is a major part of its charm. It was spotless and not having to pack my own linens was the deciding factor in deciding to stay there. Ms. Chicotel was a wonderful host--couldn't ask for better. I also loved the Keurig and tea pot. There was decaf and regular coffee and in varying strenghts. Who does that? After a long drive up from Maryland, it was pure bliss to relax with a cup of tea. I slept in the next day, had coffee and then planned my grocery trip. ...

"House was clean and in a great area. Possibly a railing would help for people w kids or older adults because the stairway is a little tricky especially when lugging suitcases upstairs. Host stopped by to check on things which was nice. Had a very nice weekend. "

"The house was easy to find and very convenient to Cedar Point, which was the reason for the trip. The house smelled of smoke when we entered. I was under the impression this was a non smoking house. The couch had pieces of oreo cookies behind the pillows.The layout of the bedrooms was a little odd as you had to walk through one to get to the other. Overall, it was an older home that smelled like smoke. Not the worst place i have stayed in but definitely not the best. "

"We would absolutely stay here again. It was a great location close to great restaurant options and pretty views of the downtown and water. In the reviews I read the biggest complaint was the noise level. You could clear as day hear any conversations of other rooms if you were in the hallway. Once inside our rooms it wasn’t as bad but we are pretty easy sleepers and other guests were very respectful."

"We had a wonderful stay at this home. Everything was clean and well-appointed and the location was convenient for access to the amazing Spring warbler migration on Lake Erie! We appreciated the fenced yard for our pup, who'd spent 5 days on the road getting to Post Clinton and was ready to stretch his legs. In the evening we went into town and enjoyed the sunset with a walk in the lighthouse area. This home is a great option in a wonderful area"
