Spacious, light-filled mid-century home in Old Town

Spacious and bright Old Town cottage. Walk to the beach, harbor and downtown. Lounge under the registered live oak.

Get away from it all in this mid-century modern, light-filled retreat. Just two and a half blocks from the harbor and beach, the House in the Bay is close enough to walk to restaurants, coffee shops, live music and all the downtown fun. The fishing pier, boat launch, public library and grocery store are less than a mile away. Once the party's over, head back to rest and relax in a serene home or enjoy the coastal breeze in the shade of the beautiful, registered Live Oak.

The House in the Bay features 3 bedrooms/1 bath (maximum occupancy of 5 people). Queen bed in the bedroom, twins beds in the second bedroom and a single twin bed in the third. Spacious living room, separate smaller living room, bathroom and kitchen, dining area (seating for 6), screened front porch with outdoor chairs, private back yard with gas grill and fire pit, lawn chairs for sitting under the large Live Oak. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven, coffee maker, blender, and full sized washer and dryer.

Our stay was great! Just a few blocks from shops and restaurants! We did rent a golf cart and enjoyed it so much too! Place is plenty big to spread out and the back yard was perfect for our small dog! Neighborhood was nice and quiet! Hope to stay again too!

Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay!

Perfect location, clean property, check in was a breeze. Plenty of room for our group of 4. We rented a golf cart and was able to drive all over downtown. The location is terrific. Will definitely be booking another stay here!

Hubby’s birthday weekend

Loved the overall cottage feel of the rental, simple decor, indoor and outdoor spaces. We likely would have used the grill and screen porch areas had our visit been in fall or spring. There were only two minor short falls in the home. Neither affecting the pleasure of our stay. One being pet hair on the back of the loose pillows of the smaller couch, missed by the cleaner. We understand it can happen to anyone & we have had a pet ourselves. The other being the peeling of the coffee pot burner surface. I chose not to use it. Rather purchased an inexpensive single cup coffee maker at Walmart. I’m happy to have it now for home use as well as when we travel. We love the Bay and would happily stay in this rental again.Until next time…be well BSL!

Great house!!

We had a great stay at the house. The communication with the owner was amazing. They even gave us ideas on where to eat and have a great time. The house is stocked well and the kitchen was great to cook in. The fact they are pet friendly really is a plus. Lola loves to travel and when we can bring our dog A++. I can not express what a great time we had!!!

Summer Fun

We had 4 adults and two small children and the house was a great set up for us. We appreciated the room for the kids to play and that there were two tv’s, in two different living areas. Perfect location. We also appreciated the use of beach chairs and beach towels.

Bay St Louis

This property provided a wonderful and convenient stay to everything Bay St. Louis. Ease to main street, beach, grocery stores. A wonderful place for pets. The owner and property manager were great for response to questions for check in and out. Will be putting this property on my #1 list to reserve for my next trip
