"We loved our stay at this adorable boathouse! It’s a very cute one-room cabin sitting right over the water, which makes it feel extra cozy and special. The owners live right across the driveway, but they were very discreet (we only saw them on the day we arrived for a quick hello). "Wonderful cabin and location! Dave was a fantastic host. Loved having the pontoon boat available. Boat instructions were perfect and easy to follow. Caught bass, perch, bluegill and crappie. Weather was cooler than expected, so fire pit was enjoyed! Check out the Block North Brewery and Restaurant. We considered it a bonus find on our trip. Awesome food, beer and extensive menu. A must do in Aitkin! Highly recommend Sullivan Lake Chalet!"

"We loved the setting of this rental. Picture perfect lakefront views. Waterfront seating and fire pit so enjoyable! Timing and cooler weather prevented us from utilizing the pontoon but we had hoped to use it—next time for sure!The house itself is spacious and met all our needs. Only suggestion for improvement is another TV. We would have enjoyed a TV on the screen porch rather than having to go to the lower level. "Great cabin. What I liked the most is kids playroom with variety of toys, kept out 4 and 2 yo entertained for the entire stay. Separate game room kept our teenagers entertained as well. Interior design is very modern and stylish. Location is just perfect, 5 minutes to Costco, Wallmart, Target. Close to Brainerd, Nisswa and Gull lake ( 20 min drive). "

"We stayed at this location for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend and honestly this was the best we have been to.The property itself is beautiful…extremely high quality inside & outside, and every little detail was thought through. The night lights on the stairs were such a nice touch, there was even a clock projected on the ceiling. Tons of games to keep us busy too…croquet, pool table, bean bag toss, darts. Kayaks were ready to go along with lots of life jackets which made it super easy to enjoy...

"Large beautiful, clean and spacious property. The hosts were excellent. They were quick to answer any questions. The large kitchen was well equipped with high end appliances. We loved playing in the lake with its sandy shallow bottom. It was great for young children. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. The lake is a great fishing lake. "
