Lake view from covered screened in porch! 1/4 mile to Corp of engineers boat launch and swimming . Launch into Mine Lick Creek of Center Hill Lake. 10 Minutes by boat to Hurricane Marina. Cabin is perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. Large living room and kitchen. Relax on covered front porch or enjoy lake view from private screened in patio. Other cabins are available on same property for additional space for larger groups. Short drive to Cookeville Boatdock, Burgess Falls and Window Cliff hiking areas. Perfect weekend retreat!

Cabin was cozy, clean and easy to heat to use the A/C. The view was nice! Kitchen supplies were ample, cold fridge and ice trays were a plus!!The water tastes great!! Loved the screened in porch along with the rocky chairs on the front porch!

Cabin was clean & had all the basic necessities. King bed in the upstairs loft was comfortable, rear screened porch was nice. I didn’t realize this was in a RV/cabin campground area- luckily, it was still spaced well apart from others and was fairly quiet with space to walk our dogs. Others didn’t have theirs leashed however, which was a little stressful. Our only con was the 7-8 wasps that we kept finding inside the cabin and had to kill. The upstairs window doesn’t completely seal closed so there were a lot of dead bugs on the windowsill. But we saw wasps going in and out in the cedar boards in the ceiling. Alerted the host so hopefully they can rectify that problem. Otherwise we loved our stay here.

Great weekend stay

We were pleased with the amount of space available, the cleanliness, and all of the items stocked in the kitchen. The screened-in porch was perfect for reading and listening to all the creatures around. We were pleasantly surprised with the campground’s fireworks display on the 4th and the sunset pavilion was perfect for photos!

Cute secluded place

Enjoyed our stay here, host was very responsive. Had a minor issue with the stove but maintenance guy came out and addressed it quickly. I do wish the kitchen had better lighting, otherwise no complaints and we would stay here again!

Remote and peaceful

The rental is the right hand cabin when you look at the posted picture. Coffee not supplied. No blinds covering front and back door, and 4 of 5 windows blinds don't go all the way down and there are no strings to lower them so you're visible from the outside. Patio was very peaceful and Vinny was super responsive. Bed is in loft; bathroom downstairs. There are other cabins around but not super close.

Left due to unclean kitchen

My wife and I stayed for one night. We planned to do a decent bit of cooking for our three night stay. After arriving, I looked at the kitchen cupboards to get an idea of what cooking supplies and such were there. There was limited options when it came to pots/pans/cooking sheets. The skillets were not clean. There was standing water in the skillets in the cupboard. One of them looked like it had something growing on it. Not sure what. The knives were dirty (and some were missing). All of the plates and cups had a layer of grease on them. I will note, this house doesn’t have a dishwasher… so you are relying on the cleanliness of the previous guest, and that they did a good job handwashing each dish. We would have had to clean the dishes to use them, and then hand wash them again. I contacted the owner, and told him we were just going to leave. The home wasn’t prepared well for us. I appreciated having our cleaning fee refunded, but no additional rent or anything was offered to be refunded after the home was not adequately prepared. I wouldn’t ever stay here again. Unless you don’t plan on using the kitchen at all. Too much risk in depending on previous tenants to clean dishes and such.

Peaceful retreat

Quiet, charming, loved the screened porch. Metal roof outside the bedroom made the rain overnight during our stay even better. Loved the extra touch of the mini bed & chair beneath the stairs!

Fall break

Lovely condo, clean well furnished, short drive to the lake. Particularly enjoyed the back screened porch and the short walk to the gazebo for beautiful sunset views. Hope to return soon.

Wonderful stay

This property was very nice and clean! It had plenty of room for our small family. The neighborhood was family friendly and quiet! Just a 2 minute drive to the lake for fishing! We will be back!
