Three families (with young kids!) shared the space comfortably--it was perfect for our group. The house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped for both adults and littles. MG was great to communicate with and available when needed! We will be booking again for next year."

"I sent my wife, her foreign guest, and the neighbor on an outing—mainly because the noise level at home had reached “incoming artillery level”.I steered them away from repetitive shopping, they enjoyed some fresh air, and I found the sound of silence.Unfortunately… they’ve returned.They loved it. "We had an absolutely lovely stay at Costal Bliss. It was the perfect spot for our group of friends and a few young kids to relax and play. House was large and well stocked- having two fridges is priceless. The beach was beautiful and having a spot in the bay protected us from a passing hurricane. We loved swimming and watching surfers and dolphins. The sunsets were gorgeous. Nearby (20 minutes) Cape Charles offered a bit of everything to tickle our pallets and shopping bug. We loved our vacation...

"Overall great experience and would stay again. Proximity to beach was great. Games, Puzzles, and DVD collection was a fun bonus for the kids. A few minor improvements could put this place over the top. Because they’re older, some doors don’t close fully and none of them lock. Some extension cords with charging stations in the bedrooms would be a nice touch. The lower level does get warmer than the upper level but the fans help make it manageable. We did appreciate the number of hooks available...

"We went to Mathews Market Days on 9/6. Beautiful location. Wonderful to see all the birds while grilling. The S'mores were a nice added treat. "

"Great location. House is clean. The finishes and equipment/utensils are all high-end. The property owner is super responsive and accommodating. The long dock off the back of the property is awesome. We saw plenty of fish, crabs, birds, and porpoises during our stay. If you like crabbing and fishing and sipping wine on the water; stay here! "

"We had a great stay. Easy check in process. Home was clean and well equipped. We loved using the stand up paddle board and kayaks. Cape Charles has a great beach with easy parking, warm water, and minimal waves. Our dog had a great time playing in the water in the mornings. "

"It was the first time to St. Charles and we had a great time. The property was fantastic. Very clean and charming. It was perfect for a weekend. The check-in process was a little complicated as we didn't get our check in information until an hour before we arrived. But everything else was perfect. Definitely recommend."

"We stayed here for our 20th anniversary and it was the perfect spot for a 3-night getaway. The views overlooking the harbor were beautiful—especially the sunsets right from the balcony. One surprise we didn’t expect was being able to rent a golf cart on the property, which made it so easy (and fun) to get to the beach, explore downtown, and sightsee around Cape Charles.A must-do: make reservations at Hook @ Harvey, the restaurant located just below the apartment. "This is a lovely quiet property on the water. It was the best supplied property I’ve ever stayed in with food in the cupboard and fridge and bath room toiletries, even an extra toothbrush. (Good thing because I forgot mine.) There’s plenty of room to spread out and even a pool table. Highly recommended for your next trip to this wonderful little corner of the world. "

"Property manager canceled my stay with no notice. I had already driven a great distance to be there. Took several days for them to issue the refund despite the fact that they canceled the reservation same day. Actually they told me I had to cancel the reservation on my end. I assume this was so they would still get the money from the reservation, but I called to cancel it and explain the situation. Long story short don’t book here."

"Amazing cottage and grounds! We thoroughly enjoyed Sherri’s & John’s Middle Cottage at Glebefield! The unique, historical atmosphere f the property and buildings have been well cared-for, comfortable, and lent themselves to a restful stay. Excellent communication from Sherri. We look forward to visiting again sometime. "
