"Unique house with a ton of charm. Very clean and had everything we needed. A quick walk to the riverfront and historical sites nearby. "

"The home is very nice and in a great location. Beautiful views and easy access to the beach. As a previous guest stated, a new house is within 100 feet of the driveway (not shown in photos). Not a problem for us, but sharing for awareness. Be aware the beach is not private. 3-4 vehicles parked each day near the driveway for families to access the beach. Close to 20 vehicles on the 4th of July. "

"From the outside the place looked kind of bare and not very outstanding. However, the inside was fine. Co.fortable bed and nice accommodations. "

"This home was perfect for our family! With a park and playground right across the street, and the beach close by it allowed us to have a great vacation. The homeowner provided kitchen and bathroom essentials that made our stay easier. The outdoor shower was a great feature to have especially for after the beach. We loved how cozy and welcoming the space was. Mostly importantly, all the beds were comfortable and provided us with restful sleep. "

"Property manager canceled my stay with no notice. I had already driven a great distance to be there. Took several days for them to issue the refund despite the fact that they canceled the reservation same day. Actually they told me I had to cancel the reservation on my end. I assume this was so they would still get the money from the reservation, but I called to cancel it and explain the situation. Long story short don’t book here."

"Extra clean and organized, all of the amenities were top quality. We will definitely stay with Aaron agin. Highly recommended!"

"What a unique relaxing stay enjoying birding, kayaking, stargazing, sunsets off the bridge and watching the kids capture crabs galore. We loved the quirky cottage with its amazing large wrap around window views. Donna and Mike are caring hosts, offering plenty of tips on the area when asked. The island is conveniently located close to Yorktown and not far from Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. The kids also enjoyed both Yorktown and Jamestown beaches during the stay. "

"This cottage is exactly how it is described. It was very clean! The host was so nice and so accommodating. She assured us that we could walk all over the property and I certainly did. There were deck chairs on the dock and it was just so peaceful. We definitely want to come back."

"I would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway! The hosts were just lovely! They were very informative and helpful all around!Check in was super easy! Fully stocked pantry and amenities! Kitchen was quaint and perfect for all cooking needs! I would go again! It was a wonderful time! Close to lots of great beaches! Great learning opportunities bc of all its museums and historical sites! 10/10! Spend some time relaxing in VA at Kimary Cove! "

"We took a moms' relaxing getaway at this property this week. The property was clean, pretty, and very well kept with modern designs and appliances. We were able to enjoy the beautiful waterfront view from bedrooms, living room and the kitchen during our stay. The house is perfectly located in the quiet neighborhood within a 20-30 min driving distance from a variety of attractions to check out - shopping, museums, and more. We will likely come back to this property again. :) "

"Bay Cottage was charming, comfortable and the location was just perfect. We could walk to the beach in less than a minute. It is well stocked and beds were very comfortable. "The cottage was clean, the discription was acurate,the attension to detail was outstanding.The rooms look like they were just renovated.The view from the deck was fantastic.The glasses, flatware and cookware looked new.Well worth the cost. There even was a binder with the history of the area and activity suggestions,We hated to leave."
