"Great location and interesting layout in this historic house. It was the perfect respite for our stay before our puffin tour the next day and close to town for a concert on the common and restaurants. Note : to access one of the bedrooms you need to go through the bathroom, but it worked out fine. Dmitri was super communicative and was kind enough to let us know we left a pair of shoes there after we departed. "We loved our short stay at the carriage house. It’s beautifully renovated and high quality everything. Perfect for two people. Easily 4 if you don’t mind sharing space a bit. We would have loved to Spend more time but we were in and out a lot. Not far from downtown waterfront. Lots of nice restaurants and pubs. "

Due to flight times from Florida, we arrived in the evening, but he was there to greet us with his warm smile & friendly demeanor. The cottage is ideal! You will think you stepped into a "Maine Cottages" magazine. It is well equipped, and was capable of hosting our "Lobstah Boil" with 20 guests, a live Jazz Saxophonist & a keyboard player! "Friendly Cottage was beyond amazing for my week long getaway with my 2 daughters. The location and views can’t be beat and the house was perfectly laid out and equipped with everything we needed. We lucked out with incredible weather so found ourselves on the beach almost every morning and evening. We can’t wait to come back!"
