"Hotel is located in the center of Bath and 12 minutes walk to Roman Bath. Walking to Jane Austen Center, circus or Royal Cresent all within 15 minutes. Room is well sized and tastefully decorated and sparkly clean. Have to mention that the bathroom was beautifully designed. "Stayed for 3 nights, had 2 rooms both were excellent, very comfortable beds, slept very well, air conditioning great, bathrooms clean and walls between rooms not paper thin. Breakfast was lovely, very flexible, could choose that morning whether you wanted it or not. Staff excellent, always there when needed but not intrusive and hotel parking was a plus, all in all, excellent, would highly recommend."

"A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful."

We loved our spacious room with a gorgeous high ceiling and updated bathroom. It felt like pure luxury after our cramped stay in London.
