Karel's at Long Beach has been owned by our family for 75 years. This spectacular traditional absolute beach front property in Long Beach awaits you. You can hear the sounds of the waves while you sleep! Enjoy our large fire pit.

The booking price includes doonas, pillows, doona covers. You will need to bring your own sheets, towels and pillow covers.

There is a barbecue provided outside with sitting areas on the beach front verandah.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances. The house has a separate dining room, which seats 8 comfortably.

The separate lounge room has a smart TV, and DVD. We also have books and puzzles for you to enjoy as well. Wifi and 3 split system air conditioners installed in the house to ensure you are comfortable all year round.

There is one very large main bathroom, with bathtub for those bubble baths, shower, toilet and vanity. We also have a laundry with front loader, washing machine, dryer, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board.

Enjoy the fire pit with plenty of seating to enjoy the warmth of the fire.

A variety of outdoor activities are at your doorstep - swimming, surfing, walks along the beach, bush walking, fishing, and sailing.

We would love you to experience this very special property, and make your own memories. It is a magical place. It has been totally renovated and is dedicated to my father Karel who died in 2012 who bought the property 75 years ago.

Right on the beach, the ocean is your backyard on beautiful Long Beach.

Long Beach, Batemans Bay is over 1 mile long. The house is located 10 minutes to Batemans Bay and also 5 minutes away from Maloney's Beach.

Enjoy endless swimming, fishing, snorkelling, boogie board riding, windsurfing, and long walks along the beach. There is beautiful Australian wildlife, kangaroos, cockatoos, rosellas and much more. If you love bushwalking there are some wonderful trails to discover as well.

At Long Beach dolphins frequently cruise up and down the beach in front of our house all year long. It is something very special to see. Also whales visit and are seen in the Bay between the months of June and November.

The property is located in a quiet area with the best views.

The property is fenced at the front of the house and is safe for children.

Please Note: Cleaning Practices

Our property is cleaned by professional cleaners after each stay. We pride ourselves on being COVID safe and having high cleaning standards by our cleaners.

We provide toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies such as dish washing detergent and laundry detergent and a small amount of trash bags.

We also have cleaning products available whilst you stay.

Our home is non-smoking and no pets allowed.

Where do I start?

Your family beach house is most definitely a 'slice of heaven'.

It was simply breathtaking in its layout, furnishings and design - you girls are true contenders for the Block. When Mary and I walked inside our jaws just hit the ground - awesome! Then we went outside and found it difficult to breathe for the first five minutes - just magnificent.

I thank your whole family for allowing my family to have a few days together in the most gorgeous surroundings. In fact, Belinda wanted to book a time for us again next year.

Family has always been a crucial part of my life and this short break gave Mary and I an opportunity to be with all of our girls.

Karels Place is a great place to stay!

Cute little beach house right on Long beach. All the amenities you need for a family holiday. Comfortable Beds, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom/laundry, Air-conditioning plenty of comfortable seating....all in a quiet, picturesque location. Recommend!!

Second time just as good as the first

This is the second time staying at Aida's property and we enjoyed every moment as much as the first. Our family had such a nice relaxing time and the house itself provides all the comforts needed for a coast getaway. The beach practically on our doorstep makes this property worth every cent. Beautiful beach cottage

The cottage has absolute beach front and wonderful views and amenity . New kitchen and bathroom and tasteful beachy decor. Even the bedrooms have water views Well priced . The owner was charming and helpful. I highly recommend this property .

Perfect escape

My family and I had a fantastic, relaxing time at Aida's house in Long Beach. A morning ritual of heading to the beach and fire pit on the evening was a fantastic way to spend some quality time away from everyday life. The cabin was exactly what we needed and met our needs and expectations and the area was exceptionally quiet and easy going. We have stayed in a number of houses around Long Beach on the past but this house is definitely our favourite. We'll be looking forward to coming back in the future for another relaxing, tranquil getaway.

We loved staying right on the beach. The only down side was getting charged in US dollars, which was unexpected. We ended up paying more than expected/quoted, I'm presuming it's due to exchange rate. I liked our stay but not at that price. We won't use this platform again.

We had a wonderful stay at Karel’s. It’s so convenient to have the beach being an extension of the backyard, particularly with an 11months old baby. There is a lot of love in this holiday home and it can be felt. We were relaxed by the sound of the waves, and had picnics on the grassy backyard below the pine tree with a view on the ocean.

Perfect location

We spent all our time in the backyard of the property enjoying the beautiful view and surroundings. Perfect place to set up a backyard picnic right by the beach and have a nice breakfast with a view. The inside was clean and had everything we needed for the night. Hosts were also very accomodating and easy to contact with any questions. Highly recommend and hope to stay again

Wonderful spot

We loved staying at this gorgeous house which is right on the beach. It is immaculately presented and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We loved listening to the ocean as we fell asleep each night. The firepit at the back on the grass in front of the beach was awesome and our young family toasted marshmallows as the sun set. A great spot for a sun downer or ten too. Overall, it's a fantastic place to unwind and just enjoy the south coast. Aida was awesome and really helped us with settling in and choosing nice places to eat etc. Many thanks!

Water views forever

My husband and I stayed at this lovely property for 4 nights. The check-in process was so easy with an email being sent with all the details required a few days before our stay. When we arrived we were taken aback with the absolutely gorgeous beach view and access from the property. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our getaway. We loved having the modern technology of wi-fi and smart tv as the weather was unfortunately not on our side but as the house was so comfortable it didn’t matter. Bateman’s Bay was only 10 minutes drive away and we found ourselves driving around Long Beach visiting the many Roos and birds (swamp hens) that reside in the little community. One of the best features of the house was the extremely comfortable king sized bed. I haven’t slept so soundly and listening to the waves helped us relax as well. Thank you for having us and we hope to come back again when the sun is shining a little more.
