"The setting, on a gravel road in the woods, was beautiful, quiet and private. A nice fire pit was provided in an open area with chairs and some wood (we brought additional wood and burned all of it). The cabin was well-prepared and attractive. Fresh, warm homemade bread awaited us at check-in. The newer round shower was great. The loveseat was comfortable. Everything worked great. Debra responded quickly and completely to our one texted question on arrival, and was helpful with the reservation...

"Great place to stay. As soon as we opened the door we were impressed. As noted in description it is near hiking trails with lots of waterfalls. Only semi-drawback is the cell phone signal is nonexistent in house. But as noted there is a little up close to road. We spent one day exploring forest roads in our 4wd Toyota FJ and next day hiking. Host is extremely helpful with suggesting hikes to waterfalls. We will be back. "

"This cabin was great. It was a great size, super clean and nicely decorated. Loved the front and back porches to sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet. Debra makes bread and such a nice smell when you open the door. Nice little touches to have some of the toiletries case you forgot something. Loved having the Keurig and the snack bars. Close enough to Jasper in case you want to head back into town"

Check in was a breeze, the loaf of homemade bread waiting for us was so wonderful, the detail on the wood counters is just spectacular!!! "What a great cottage with a perfect location for a getaway in the Buffalo! Everything was as described and it was very easy to find thanks to perfect instructions from our host. Service was very spotty as expected for the area so we were very thankful for those clear directions when the maps were not in range.
