"This is a cute property!Right by the lake with a small path (needs some weeding) to walk down. It is also near a boat ramp. Next time we will bring the kayaks.You have a nice size kitchen if you want to make breakfast, you will need to bring the basics. Oil, butter,, salt pepper, ect. Give it a 9 because it’s right by the water!"

"Very clean and well-appointed. Obviously a lot of planning went into furnishing this home away from home for patients at either the walking distance VA hospital, or Scott & White, which is 5 minutes away. Neighbor Billy helped with the trash and recycling and answered any questions we had. It's easy to get to anywhere in Temple from this home. It was very quiet and peaceful. Only noise was on Saturday morning when the neighboring church had their grass cut ;-) We were exceedingly comfortable in...

"We stayed at Jenk Farm for a fishing tournament, and it was perfect! First of all, the house was beautiful, especially inside. They also have a barn where you can park your boat and charge your batteries overnight. It is 10 minutes from most ramps on Stillhouse Hollow, and 10-20 from the ramps on Lake Belton. I would 100% stay here again!"

"My wife and I stayed in Salado for two nights and couldn't have picked a better place to lay our heads! Extremely close to all of the restaurants and shops but secluded enough to feel like your own private getaway. A amenities. The back porch and hot tub area are absolutely beautiful to relax and unwind in and the hosts are the friendliest and most accommodating I have ever experienced on Vrbo. "We booked this property specifically because of the river access. So glad that we did! We spent most of the day Saturday on the river, and had it completely to ourselves! Our amazing hosts encouraged us to drive our car close to the river access, so we only had a short walk to a very large flat rock next to the river. Put our chairs in a shallow spot and just chilled.
