"I’m confident it will be better over time, but right now they have quite a bit to work on. Many drinking glass were not cleaned and spider web on some chairs. Despite >85% empty (my assumption) we got an apartment where we had to go up some stairs to reach it. No elevator and not possible to change. The reception is not very quick or helpful. "Excellent accomodation; very well equipped for a short or extended stay. The house was immaculately presented and very welcoming. Parking right outside. Air conditioning (which was needed) and WiFi. "This property is NOT where it shows on the map, it is 10 minutes down the street and not in the village of Comporta. There is only one AC unit, and the bedrooms get very hot. The house was not clean upon arrival and the cleaning people were still there. The microwave didn't work either. I am still waiting for my refund. The management company is difficult to work with and communicate with. Cute pool though. "

"We had a really wonderful stay. The house and outdoor areas are fantastic. Carla was very responsive to questions. The beach at Carvalhal is a short walk away and is absolutely gorgeous. It's perfect for kids at low tide and ideal for beginner surfers. We are definitely going to return in the near future."

"Das Haus ist so ungünstig gebaut, dass selbst im Sommer keine Sonne auf dem Nord Balkon erscheint. Nur ein kleines Bad Fenster ist Richtung Süden ausgerichtet. Es ist ausgesprochen dunkel und kühl in diesem Haus. Darauf sollte deutlich in der Beschreibung hingewiesen werden. Um zu Fuß nach Comporta zu kommen, muss man ein Stück über die Hauptstraße ganz ohne Bürgersteig laufen. Das Gelände dieses Hauses ist daher etwas abgelegen. Die Gegend und der Strand sind top! "

"Great house to stay at! Around a 30 minute walk to the beach or a short drive. Around a five minute drive from Comporta. House was very comfortable and child friendly, and the kitchen has everything you need to make a nice dinner. Definitely a great location and place to stay. "

"Wir wurden sehr herzlich und persönlich empfangen mit kleinem Apero und eingenen Wein. Renato hatte eine tolle Unterlagenmappe für Aktivitäten bereitgestellt und uns ausführlich erklärt. Das Häusen war genauso wie auf den Fotos und mit vielen lieblichen Details geschmückt. Wir haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Die Zeit ging leider viel zu schnell vorbei.
