"I have travelled in Myanmar since 2006. I booked this hotel for two nights for its location the China town. Four hrs after my checkin at sharp midnight, 3-4 Burmese young hooligans (two men and 1-2 women) came into my floor. They were extremely loud and yelling all over on the hallway and their room. "On arrival questions about who Expedia.ca was. Booked superior nonsmoking room, twin beds. Taken to gritty room with dbl bed, multiple cig. Burns on bathtub rim. Changed to rm w. twin beds, fewer cig burns. Bathroom grimy, lack of maintenance everywhere. 24 hour/day very loud traffic noise. Not a 4-star hotel as advertised!!! Far too pricey for value."

We went and booked another hotel for experience but we had to return to Novotel because not many Hotel in YGN is clean. Especially we were traveling with 7 months old. "My first stay at Hotel G for 2 nights. I enjoyed the eco-friendly and minimalist approach in the hotel design. A differentiation from the heritage hotels and Burmese-styled inns in Yangon. I am delighted by the efficient and friendly arrival and check-in. Room was very clean. Pillows and bed were firm and fresh. The front counter staff are young, cheerful and enthusiastic. Overall, Hotel G has a positive welcoming vibe. Great job !"
