The busy market town of Barnsley is close by (3 miles) with a wealth of pubs, restaurants and shops, but the property enjoys a charming rural spot with magnificent views and miles of tranquil walks. To the west, the glorious Peak District National Park (8 miles) is a perfect spot for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Other local attractions include the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Whistlestop Valley, Cannon Hall Farm, Worsbrough Mill Country Park and Wortley Top Forge, all within 8 miles. The National Coal Mining Museum is to the north (12 miles) with the thriving city of Sheffield to the south (16 miles).
