"Well appointed kitchen, bath and all. Beautiful house in the woods, everything we expected and more. (There was a musty smell when you first walk in, from the basement maybe?)"

"There was enough room for my large family to sleep and eat. It was very private and quiet as there are only cornfields and trees surrounding the property. The host was very helpful and friendly. There was not a swing set as pictured, but the kids had fun playing in the loft. "

"Scott was a fantastic host - very responsive & easy to work with! Lots of room for us to spread out & relax without feeling we were on top of each other! Hot tub, pool/pingpong table & foosball were as shown & greatly enjoyed.Also had several hot games of cards at the kitchen table!!Loved the sunroom too! The listing did say "pool" but apparently an above ground pool was recently removed. Not a problem at all for us as we wouldn't have had time to use it anyway.Very convenient for our family -...

"The EarthHouse is wonderful. We experienced a nice clean comfortable space. The decorations were amazing with a mix of antiques and modern decor. We could tell the hosts were creative and artistic. The hosts gave us plenty of coffee, which I appreciated. The town is beyond charming. I highly recommend both a visit to the village of Mount Horeb as well as staying at the EarthHouse!"

"Stayed for the workweek with my teenage son. Felt comfortable walking outside and having my kid drive himself places (he is used to small town driving). Easy drive over to UW for practices but nice to be ‘living’ out of the bigger city. Loved seeing all the fireflies in the backyard each evening. Very attentive host, easy to communicate with and quick responses. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and kitchen had what was needed to be able to make our own foods. "Everything about our stay was PERFECT! We were in town from Chicago for the Coldplay Concert in Madison and the distance was only about 15-20 minutes away. The place was so clean, cozy and welcoming! We appreciated all the small touches, definitely could notice that the hosts care about their guest. All the amenities made our weekend so smooth, we wished we could have stayed longer! "

"Thea was such an amazing host! As we walked in, we were greeted with a sweet note and dog treats for our guys. The house and property are beautiful! The windows in the house made for great sunsets and nature watching at breakfast. We even saw an Eagle on one of our hikes around the property. This is also a dogs paradise, it was hard to keep the dogs inside. We stayed almost a week and didn’t want to leave. Everything you needed, Thea had onsite ready for you, pots, pans, detergent, kids toys,...
