"The cottage was overall comfortable and fine. The outside area wasn't in a good state. Dead rabbit parts in multiple places. Hotel reception had the worst of it removed when requested.
Outside bench wasn't very sturdy.
Facilities inside were better, good TV, comfy bed, good water pressure, well stocked kitchen and appliances. Bathroom lacked cleanliness with a few mouldy areas. "

"We loved sitting out on the patio area, watching the goings on around the place, the tv wasn’t on at all. Visited Brampton for some excellent food and loved the Lanercost Priory when we visited there. Miltonrigg woods was just 2 minutes drive for a lovely dog walk as well. Could have done with a parasol on the patio when the sun was strongest but our intention was met for a few days of chilling. The staff were all friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the cafe on our departure. "

"What an amazing place it have everything u need down to the salt and pepper.Finish to a very high speck and the whirlpool bath is an added bonus. Nothing to much trouble amazing hosts just send a message and they will help "

"The location of Gibbs Hill Farm is amazing. It is located on a large farm and is very quiet and very beautiful and catered to our needs. The property is clean and comfortable. Valerie, the owner, is very friendly and we enjoyed our chats with her. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to the area. "

"Fabulous house in a lovely location, it was perfect for long walks . The house is very roomy with fab decor. Close to a lovely restaurant we we popped in gor drinks and food a few times over the weekend. Will definitely return in the sumner months."

"Had the pleasure of spending a couple of nights here with my partner and 3 daughters. A great place to get away and spend some quality time. It feels very remote but at the same time is close enough to drive or jump the train into Newcastle for the day. It was great sitting around the firepit in the evening after a soak in the hot tub! Plenty here for the whole family we would definitely stay again. "

"What a place, accomodation is excellent, plenty of room to be together, but also plenty of room to find some peace and quiet! The party barn is a real bonus, rspecially if the weather is not too good, and there’s a cricket pitch (or football) right in front pf the property…can’t think of a downside…Fantastic Time was had by all"

"This was such a cute little apartment. It is attached to the Milecastle Pub, which has very delicious food. A portion of Hadrian’s Wall is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend."

"The property was amazing and owners very flexible around arrival time and departure. Couldn’t fault it and would definitely choose to stay again. However very confusing that received 2 invoices - 1 from Homeaway and another from Crabtree and Crabtree. Confusing as to what was being paid for what. Slight problem with accidental damage to a door, money taken from my card within 2 days of departure and I was told C and C would negotiate with owners even though I informed the owner myself on...
