Can Duarry is a villa with two houses (Hosts and guests) surrounded by a magnificent and large garden with swimming pool, porch, dining room and outdoor kitchen (BBQ), interior patio with BBQ, cellar with BBQ, a chapel and a play area. The guest house has 5 double rooms (three suites and two with shared bathroom). The host house is independent with different entrances sharing a common garden area.

Location 20 minutes from Barcelona: Can Duarry is the perfect villa to discover Barcelona in a natural environment and very well connected, for meetings with friends or family, to relax or work in a great environment with your team. Strategically located 3 km from the beach and 2 km from the natural park.

Maresme- 3 minutes from the beach or the mountains: The Maresme region has a certain resemblance to Italian Tuscany, an area of ​​vineyards by the sea, with large and beautiful beaches and surrounded by the north of two natural parks for all kinds of activities , Hiking, biking, horse riding and one of the best places to play golf, we have 3 courses in its surroundings and great weather throughout the year.

An impressive pool, magnificent gardens and a small Romanesque-style church: Few villas have a Garden listed by heritage for its exceptional beauty and extension, with a large 20-meter pool surrounded by centenary trees, pine palms and all kind of plants and flowers, which make the garden a unique and spectacular environment, on one side we have a porch with a full kitchen outside where you will enjoy the best Barbecues and rice dishes for all of yours and a Romanesque chapel in which we have held large events and family gatherings (weddings, baptisms, communions ...)

Patio: The interior and back patio area has four areas: the porch area with BBQ and an ideal place for your family meals, the Hall area covered with sofas and surrounded by large and beautiful plants, the Outdoor cinema with a screen 89 '' where you can watch TV or family videos and the backyard with its light tent and relaxation area.

Privacy and relaxation Can Duarry has an environment that guarantees the privacy of its guests in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. It is the Barcelona refuge of the Mediterranean. The ideal place for a quiet stay and enjoy yours next to Barcelona. Events or parties are not allowed without the authorization of the property.

Premium Quality: The villa was renovated in 2020, with first quality materials and the latest generation, Wi-Fi and Ac throughout the house. With all the services in the 5 new rooms (TV, AC USB, fan…), a new dream kitchen with all the necessary equipment and something else… and a very stylish and comfortable living room.

The price published on the web is for the guest house (5 double rooms) having the private use of the house and use of the exteriors published on the web, Garden, pool and patio.

Beautiful Property!

Loved the stay! Outside areas were phenomenal and host was very helpful. Communication was easy. Loved that we stayed in a small town and we were able to walk to a small grocery store, bakery and restaurants.

Fui a pasar una estancia de prospección de una noche para organizar un team building de cara a primavera y la casa es perfecta, limpieza, servicios, el jardín increíble y la atención de los anfitriones, Isabel y Jordi, excepcional. Sin duda alguna una casa increíble tanto para ir en grupo de trabajo, amigos o en familia. Muy recomendable.

A hidden gem

From the moment we booked our stay at Villa Can Duarry the hosts, Isabel & Jordi went above and beyond for us. They arranged a private chef for our small little family gathering where we shared our vows together on their property. It's like a private resort with everything you could ever need. You can walk into Premià de Dalt and grab a coffee and groceries. She provided recommendations and put us in direct contact with a local cab driver to take us into Barcelona. You wouldn't even know that the home owners were staying on the same property. You have access to all the amenities. Amazing privacy and Isabel will go above and beyond for you. The house is kept up nicely and so are the grounds, the pictures on VRBO don't even do justice for this home. We will rebook again next year for vacation. Thank you Isabel and Jordi! Such a fabulous home, but even better hosts! 10/10

Fabulous House

We arrived, walked through to beautiful wooden doors to be met with a wonderful & stunning garden. It took your breath away. Jordi greeted us & showed us around the grounds, the swimming pool, garden kitchen was amazing. We walked into the house where carefully crafted living zones inside & out had been created. The house felt peaceful, relaxing & calm. Appliances where of the highest level in the kitchen. Bedrooms were superb & our master bedroom had glorious views over the garden. We booked the chef Victor & had a great fun night of traditional Catalonian food & wine it was superb. Some of our family joined a local gym & spa playing padel where others loved the close proximity to Barcelona & the tourist experience. We could not recommend this house enough & would love to go back. Regards Tracey

Not a place for celebrations or privacy!

Originally I booked this villa on vrbo as it looked idyllic and perfect for my 50th birthday break with an all lady group, Isabella welcomed our party and showed us around the beautiful property and gardens on arrival , please be aware this is not a place for celebrations and noise must be kept to a minimum after 10pm, which my party adhered to every evening, ensuring we did not sit outside in the bbq area after this time. Isabel was warm and friendly whereas her husband Jordi was rude and abrupt to some of our guests which spoilt our overall holiday experience in the villa, owners are living in adjacent house a few metres away and we felt that we couldn’t relax, even inside the property we felt we had to tip toe around, Jordi was often intrusive to our space and seemed to appear out of nowhere telling us not to stand on the grass in a dismissive manner , or to keep the noise down at dinner time well before the original request of 10pm! Neighbourhood was quiet, supermarket near by and some small mediocre restaurants within walking distance - residential area.. not much to do or see! After reading other reviews elsewhere, I can see we were not the only guests which Jordi had treated in the same manner to us! A review was made with the Identical experience my party received. Most reviews of 5 stars! But please do not be fooled by this! Happiness is a place was a stunning property but unfortunately rating of 3 stars due to Jordi’s rude communication to my party,

Happiness!

Happiness really is a place! Jordi was a gracious and attentive host, answering all questions we had promptly and completely. His recommendations made our visit easy and enjoyable. The villa was clean, comfortable and quite nicely appointed. While being quite spacious the entire place had a cozy feel. There is a lovely park just across the street and we were lucky enough to be serenaded by a local folk music festival one night which made us feel like part of the community. The neighborhood is quiet and private with groceries and a couple of restaurants within and easy 5 min walk. The drive into Barcelona took roughly 30 minutes and the local beach was maybe 10 minutes down the road. Parking was easy along the street and quite safe. This engagement exceeded my expectations in every way. Thank you, Jordi, for helping us have an outstanding vacation.

Great host and property

I stayed in this property for two weeks and had amazing experience. The owner and manager Jordi and his family were so kind and helpful. We shared a few meals together and cooked together and they made me feel like home. Highly recommend this property.
