"Nice hotel"

"The property is well maintained and is a lovely place to stay at, however, when I booked it, I thought it was more like a a Bed and Breakfast, but it turned out more like an Airbnb because the day we checked in, there was no staff at the property and the second day as well, we did not see any staff. It is a quit and well situated property and the best part is that it has convenient parking on property."

"There needs to be a better focus on cleaning the carpets in the rooms. In addition, the buffet breakfast ran out of food (before the end of the breakfast hours) on two days I stayed there."

"The room they gave me wasn’t clean at all. There were spiders coming out of the tub spout. The room had a stench to it. The security guard asked me twice about the room which lead me to believe that it was some fishy business going on. I didn’t stay at the room and chose another hotel in a different part of town. I couldn’t get my money back because there were no refunds."

After we paid the damage deposit they declined to let us in until after our check out day so they could confirm funds that were sent arrived in their bank account even though it was credit card through Expedia. "This hotel exceeded our expectations with location and cleanliness. It was a short walk to all the places we wanted to see including the Astros game. We were here for 3 days and enjoyed each one. There are a few things to know ahead of time. Parking will be the main thing that frustrates you. It was $50 a night to use the garage at the hotel and it filled up quickly. "The architecture is beautiful and the landscaping was lovely. The staff was so helpful and friendly. It was pet- friendly and the staff even brought my dog a bed to sleep on. I felt it was absolutely a great location. The bar snacks were good. It was very clean and well maintained. Will come back."
