  • Bar Harbor es un lugar mágico y 'Sunset' es el hogar perfecto para disfrutar de todo lo que tiene para ofrecer. Paseo por la ciudad para ir de compras o comer, bicicleta en el Parque Nacional Acadia, kayak de la barra de arena, a bordo de un barco para pescar o ver ballenas o simplemente relajarse y disfrutar de la vista desde el porche de atrás.     Sunset dispone de 2 habitaciones de matrimonio, 2 habitaciones de matrimonio, 2 dormitorios completos y 2 habitaciones con 2 camas gemelas. Cuenta con 7 baños completos. Para dar cabida a personas adicionales, también tenemos una sala de estar en el segundo piso con dos futones completo. Para aquellos que no son capaces de soportar las escaleras, también tenemos una sala de estar con una cama doble en el primer piso junto con un baño completo.

    Disfrute de la puesta de sol en el cristal en la parte trasera porche o en el patio, ambos con vistas al hermoso jardín y la bahía de francés.

This place is wonderful! If you have a large family or group of friends, this is an ideal rental. Large enough to have your own space and cozy enough to feel togetherness. Ideal walking distance to all of Bar Harbor!

Perfect spot for family getaway. Location can’t be beat. Lots of space, great yard for BBQ and lots of outdoor games.

The location of the property can’t be beat. We walked to town every day which is a real plus given the parking situation in the area. There was plenty of room for our family of 15 to gather together or to spread out for alone time. The kids enjoyed playing kick ball in the back yard and riding scooters on the driveway. Ample parking- we had 3 vehicles. This is an old home. Washer and dryer (3 each) are in the basement. Some of the mattresses and pillows need replaced. Only one working TV. We would stay again if we return to Bar Harbor

Family Gathering

We love the location! Could walk to so many Places, shops and restaurants. The house held all of us comfortably. Our whole family could be in one place for a whole week!! It was the best!

I'm not sure where to start. "Sunset" is such an amazing home, I struggle to come up with enough superlatives. The location is fantastic. It is only one house from the Bar Harbor land bridge, 1.5 blocks from the Hannaford grocery store and 1 block from the start of the downtown shops. The home had so many features that reminded me of my grandparents lake home when I was growing up (in a great way). The furniture, the staircases, the butlers pantry, the food pantry, woodwork, bathrooms, etc.The kitchen was the most well equipped kitchen I have ever experienced in a VRBO propertyMost importantly, it was perfect for a family vacation with children and grandchildren. I have no doubt this will become a lifelong memory for my grandchildren. I know it will be for my wife and me.Thank you for the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home.

Everything about the stay was great. Right next to downtown and the walk to Bar Island. A huge house with everything you need. Simple check-in and friendly hosts!

Perfect location! Being only a short walk into town was great! No worries about parking. More than enough room to accommodate our guests comfortably. just a beautiful space and comfortable stay.

Great property for 3 generation family vacation. Plenty of room to spread out. Well supplied with necessities. Gorgeous outdoor space. Perfect location walkable to everything. Would definitely book again if vacationing in the area.

1910 Shingle-style mansion in the heart of Bar Harbor

Landmark 1910 Shingle-style mansion centrally located next to downtown Bar Harbor, just steps from the sand bar to Bar Island. House was as advertised; maintenance and operating features fine; booking and check-in process smooth. A perfect venue for an extended family reunion. (We booked the house for my wife's 70th birthday.)

Beautiful Bar Harbor Vacation

Our family enjoyed this property and it's proximity to town as well as the land bridge. It was wonderful to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. The house is spacious with ample room for large groups, as ours was.

Experience Bar Harbor the way it was intended

Large mansion built in 1910 within easy walking distance to center of town and the sandbar. Many great spaces to gather friends and family (glass porch, large dining room, large backyard). Plenty of parking, good washers and dryers. Very nice owner / operator.

Sibling reunion

Wonderful week in Bar Harbor! 10 adults (3 couples and 4 singles) enjoyed the close proximity to town, shops, grocery store and restaurants- all walking distance. Dining table big enough for us all! Lots of places in the house to gather and we especially enjoyed the patio and sunroom. Thank you for a great time in your historic home!

Outstanding in Every Way

Best location in town. Quick walk to downtown, grocery store, and ice cream shops. There were three generations of a family - twelve in total...but no one felt crowded because there is so much room. Everyone loved the "old world charm" of the house.

Good for families

There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was well equiped. Some of our family members we’re working online and there were several areas to insure privacy etc. close to shopping , interesting places to eat.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful and spacious home. Within walking distance of everything in Bar Harbor. Weather was pretty rainy with Tropical Storm Lee just off the coast. Thank goodness for this spacious home. Plenty of space for grandkids to play.

Beautiful home, excellent location

Our family had a wonderful stay for a long holiday. The home's location is great -- walking distance to everything in town and a short drive in to Acadia. The home is incredibly comfortable; even in the late fall during a colder spell, we had no concerns about heat despite the age of the home. The owners were easy to contact and quick to respond. Would absolutely recommend!

Perfection!

The home is perfect for multiple families or friends. Kitchen is well equipped, and home amenities are all provided. The only suggestion I would make is to add window AC units for the 3rd floor bedrooms. Other than that, the house is perfect. Our family hopes to return in the future. Thank you for an amazing vacation!

Best Place In Bar Harbor for our Family

Our 15 consisted of 2 grandparents, 6 parents and 7 children ages 6-17. Everyone had great sleeping quarters and room to be all together. The back porch looking over the land bridge to Bar Island was our favorite. Location was perfect for our activities of eating, shopping and hiking Acadia! We were especially impressed with the Owner's quick and positive response to our one request. Thank you so much for opening your home to our family. The wonderful memories of this place will last us a long time!

Wonderful stay with minor issues

Overall we had a great stay at the property. Space to spread out with a large group and location can’t be beat. The house is steps from the shopping, food and drinks. Behind the house is the sandbar that leads to bar island. Had a couple of minor issues however , there was some significant staining on at least one of the couches as well as a not very clean floor throughout the house. Earlier reviews calling it old house clean is a perfect way to phrase it. Communication was ok but we had asked one question that was left unanswered by host.
