"This was a great family trip. We came in for a long weekend and the space was perfect for our family. It was a perfect walking distance to downtown Banner Elk for the dogs and we will most certainly be back!"

"Even though the weather wasn’t great, the cabin was clean and cozy. Screened in porch was so nice to just sit, read and enjoy the rain. We were hoping to get to use the fire pit outside but winds prevented that. Will keep this on our list of places to stay in the future."

"The room was very cute. It was very clean. Very welcoming. However, the bed needs rotate or replaced. You roll to the middle, its lumpy and not comfortable. The property has horrible lighting it is dark. The property has horrible signage. We had to get out of our car to figure out building numbers. Unless they individual owners had light up or reflective signage you could not tell the building and room numbers. "My children are spread across the SE mid-atlantic, so we found this as a central location. It was great for our adult children to hang out, play pool, have space, and spend time together. "

"Fantastic trip! Stayed 2 nights and wished we could stay longer! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The property was wooded and so quiet. We didn't expect to wake up to snow and feel like temp of 7 degrees, but the cabin was warm, cozy, and dry. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back! Thanks for the memories Bear Cabin!"

"We had a group of girls join us for a fun weekend in the mountains. Upon arriving, they immediately loved exploring the different levels of the cabin and picking out their rooms! I agree with the reviewer who commented about some things in the home not being “up to date” (like what you would find in an older home vs a newer construction) but we found it to be charming.
