Welcome to “Banner Views II”, our second home we rent to guests, referrals, and friends!

Nestled in the heart of downtown Banner Elk, Banner Views II boasts amazing views of the valley, Sugar Mountain, and peak-a-boo views of Grandfather Mountain. This newly remodeled mountain cabin features, one bedroom and one bath plus a pull out sleeper sofa. Amenities include an oversized front porch overlooking the valley and sugar mountain, gas fireplace, cable TV, wifi, brand-new TVs (2), full-sized washer/dryer, and stainless appliances. A queen bed and a queen sleepater/sofa will accommodate up to 4 adults. With brand new flooring, custom wood ceiling, fresh paint, and all new furniture, the cabin is a fantastic place for a family vacation, romantic getaway, or girl’s weekend.

The cabin is a two minute walk to 10+ restaurants in downtown, a five minute walk to Lees-McRrae College, and a quick 10 minute walk to Kettell Beerworks. Also a two minute walk is the local park, hosting live music on Thursdays in the summer, various art festivals throughout the year (including the inaugural Beerfest), and the famous Wooly Worm Festival.

We are nicely situated between two ski resorts; Sugar Mountain is 10 minutes one way and Beech Mountain is ten minutes the other way. Walk to local favorite Edge of the World for a second-to-none white water rafting experience.

Great location. But we found a few issues others should know. Parking and getting in and out is a problem as the driveway is very small and tight. The steps leading into the unit are in poor repair and hazardous. We couldn’t find a thermostat anywhere in the unit and the AC blew cold air when we didn’t need it. The laminate flooring was sticky when walking on bare feet and the cleanliness was questionable.

Upon arrival, reasonable condition, entry went ok, neat inside. When leaving for dinner we didnt know how to lock up and tried to contact phone in email and they didnt know location or how to help. Someone staying in the "condo" upstairs fortunately came by and were able to help. Mattress was not comfortable. Shower door wouldn't stayed closed while showering, kept sliding open. Less than 1 roll of toilet paper left for two nights stay. Wont return book.

We had such a great time. The property is located within walking distance of the town and so many great restaurants. Also close to both beech mountain and sugar mountain if you’re looking for a great place to stay for a ski trip! We will definitely be back!

Great Location, okay amenities.

Phenomenal location, just up the hill, easy walking distance to downtown. Place was clean, owner was easy to reach and quick to respond. Just needs a few things. The space heater in the main room is not intuitive and the instructions are not clear. This would not be such a bad thing, but the heater is absolutely necessary in the winter. It's on a gas line, too, so super clear instructions in a very clear location are much needed. The heaters also make it tough to maintain a consistent warm temperature, especially at night. Also needs some coat hooks by the door.

We enjoyed the property. Parking is a little tight for parger vehicles, but not bad.We did struggle a bit with the heat8nng system until we were informed the upstairs thermostat conte9ls the heat downstairs. There is a gas heater which w9rked well, but temperature regulation was a challenge. Still, overall a very nice stay.hearing system

We drove up from Florida to ski and to stay in a village atmosphere. The housecwas so cozy and comfortable, we had everything we needed. We were 3 miles from Sugar Mtn.ski resort. We we walking distance to great restaurants, pubs and coffee shops, although ot was too cold for us to enjoy all that. We recommend staying here 5 starsstaying at this great ps.

Cozy space as advertised, tight parking if you are in a XL Vehicle, Tahoe or long truck. Walking distance to some great restaurants, ice cream parlor, and a arcade for the kids/teens. Quiet area with nice views. Only suggestion I have is bring a space heater if you are visiting in winter. They do have a gas space heater if you are comfortable operating one.comcomfortableoperating that.

Great Place!

My birthday was on Friday and wanted to get away with my girlfriend. This was the absolute perfect place for it. The cabin was great, the town of banner elk was beautiful and had some great atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place.
