"We had a wonderful stay at Resolution Resort! Great atmosphere at the restaurant with nice options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy with a great view. We didn't want to leave!"

"The resort is beautiful and the views from the rooms and pool area are stunning. The service is top notch and the breakfast + drinks were delicious. The beachfront is more aesthetic as it's very rocky, so not the type of beach you can swim in or enter. That being said, it was very cheap and easy to get transport to the other beaches around the island. "

"The hotel was right next to the beach with the ability to kayak to other islands directly opposite. The hotel staffs were very friendly and spoke fluent English. There are a selection of shops and restaurant within walking distance. The only annoying thing I found is after every housekeeping, mosquitos often find their way into the room."

"I enjoyed four nights in a bungalow on the front line of Kae Bae beach. The accommodation was very comfortable and it was such a pleasure to look directly out to the beach and water from the front door. And there was a lovely porch there to sit on and enjoy the scenery. "I booked to stay 1 week but as I liked this place so much I stayed an extra week, the couple who run this place, Tae & lek, are very nice and friendly, you can go to them for anything you need without problem, they also have great staff who cannot do enough for you, it's also very peaceful as you are away from the main road, so no noise, only a 5 minute walk to a fantastic beach too, lots of places to eat as you walk out from the resort, the hut I stayed in was great too, very comfortable bed,...

"Nice place to stay with a beautiful garden. Rooms are a bit dated and wear and tear is visable at some place. Such as the taps of the shower and sink. Very friendly staff and nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. Breakfast room in the morning is very (too) warm. Beautiful Beach but be careful with the sandflies present."

"The island road doesn't connect fully. However it's less than 2 hours to drive around the island. Plan accordingly. All of the rooms sit on top of the water and should have some kind of view. Quiet and beautiful. Hotel restaurant looked like the food was good and affordable (live crab and fish). Secluded and kind of hard to get to but worth it imo. "
