Welcome to Bancroft Shores Lakehouse! A beautiful property located in the picturesque town of Bancroft, only 2.5 hours away from Toronto and Ottawa. This spacious vacation rental home offers 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, along with extensive lake views. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of outdoor space. The open-concept layout is perfect for large families and groups to gather. The house can comfortably accommodate up to a maximum of 22 people. It's not a walk-in shoreline and has a soft bottom entry. It's great for kayaking and boating.

Spacious, bright leaving room, second leaving room which is very convenient. Kitchen had everything, new, and plenty. All appliances, TV's, internet worked. Rooms are spacious. Parking space for many cars. Walking distance to a trail. Few minutes driving to downtown. All and all we had great time, and cottage accommodated us comfortably. Many outdoor chairs around a firepit.

It’s such a beautiful place with a lovely view, and has great cozy vibes. It’s also nice as it gives the secluded feel but it’s good to know the town is right nearby! The hosts were also quick and helpful with their responses. Would love to come back here again, hopefully next time in the summer :)

Good large accommodation. Good to have 2 fridges but not clean. Nice to have kayaks but lake is not for swimming, it is swampy and mucky along shoreline. The owners were very quick to respond when questions were asked.

From the moment we arrived, the hosts were just a message away, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit.The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was especially impressive as it was fully equipped and organized, making it easy to cook any meal that we desired.The property is stunning, with a peaceful setting that’s ideal for relaxing by the water near Waterhouse Lake, and the amenities went above and beyond our expectations. Every detail was clearly well thought out, making our stay effortless and enjoyable.This is truly one of the best rentals we’ve ever booked. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Bancroft Getaway

This is my second time at this property. It’s a great spot for a large group of people, tons of space. There were a couple maintenance issues with the property while we were there, but the owners were quick to respond. Always a nice spot to gather, only downfall is the water isn’t swim friendly. Amazing deck!

Perfect Location for Friend Reunion

The cottage was exactly as advertised, and even closer to the water than we thought! The space was perfect for a chillier weekend as there lots of room inside for everyone. Would definitely recommend for any big group getaway!

Amazing getaway!

This house is amazing! It is beautiful on the inside and the property is gorgeous. It has all the supplies necessary to cook for large groups and has enough space for everyone! The hosts are great and very responsive. I would recommend this place to everyone looking to get away and enjoy nature!

Spacious Getaway

This bright, spacious cottage was the perfect fit for our family and friends during our annual ladies weekend. The beds and linens were comfy and clean and there was ample space to come together as a group or separate for some peace and quiet. Some minor cleanliness concerns, some repair and maintenance required around the fire pit area. Host was excellent to respond timely. Disappointed with the lack of towels /dish cloths and coffee maker not functional. Host was open to suggestions and making improvements for next guest. We will definitely consider returning for a future weekend.

Fabulous time!

My family of 5 stayed with our extended family. We had a great time using the kayaks and row boat. I appreciated that there were lots of dishes and cutlery as we had a large group. It was easy to communicate with Latha. They were very detailed on where to find things so we didn’t have to ask any questions. We enjoyed the large dining table as we could all eat together. My 3 kids under 10 years old loved the dock and kayaks! Everyone had a great time. We were sad we couldn’t stay longer!

Great house for a big group

We had a great time at this beautiful house! We were a big group of kids and they had a blast. The house looks just like in the pictures. Vijay was very responsive and went above and beyond finding us a great beach spot for us.

Amazing Stay and Great location

We were here for 3 nights and had an incredible stay, very close to town and golf right down the street, had access to the lake with small boat and kayaks and were able to do some fishing and swimming, hosts were great ! Highly recommend

Gorgeous olace

Absolutely beautiful place. The cottage was more than we expected. Has a big group and the open design was absolutely perfect. Great views from all the rooms. Friendly host that was very easy to reach. Will definitely recommend this place.

Memorable weekend away in Bancroft!

I had an excellent weekend spending time with friends and family at this beautiful waterfront cottage in Bancroft. Every guest upon arrival was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of the accommodations and have already asked about coming back next year! The cottage was able to comfortably sleep 15 people and had ample room for outdoor activities in the backyard with easy access to the lake below. This was one of the best cottages I’ve stayed at and would highly recommend it for larger groups looking to have a fun and relaxing weekend away.

Bancroft Vacation

It was an excellent location on Waterhouse Lake. There were four loons nesting about 100 feet off the dock. Exploring the small lake was easy with the four kayaks supplied. We used the kayaks for a day trip up the local river. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. There were two maintenance issues that came up and both were dealt with quickly and professionally. We have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone.

Bancroft stay

We loved the house it was the right size for our family, there was plenty of room Beautifull open concept, great lake view We regemend all to check it out, how ever the black flys that they have are not great at all I think the stay there would be best in the early spring or fall, but if you pkan to be indoors only the summer minths be good too.

Weekend Getaway

This property was the perfect place for a getaway. It was clean and spacious and had plenty of room for all 13 of us. Super easy to communicate with the owners and not hard to find at all. Would definitely recommend!!
