"Had a very relaxing week in this lovely property in a great location. The place is very comfortable and peaceful - great for opening a bottle of wine and catching up with your reading. The local pub is an easy stroll away and offered a very warm welcome, great beer and excellent food. Our holiday preference is a self-catered property let. We've holidayed like this throughout Europe over the last 30 years, The Stone House would definitely rank highly in our Top 10 of properties we've stayed in...

"We were welcomed late in the evening with warm bread and a lovely tour of the home. We wanted for nothing, the views are spectacular and the cliffs wall is just across the road. "

"Perfect location to explore Connemara and a lovely property, beautifully renovated for a most comfortable stay. Lovely hosts with great suggestions and a playful dog to make us feel at home. We particularly loved fly fishing at Ballynahinch Castle (Hugh as our guide), exploring the Killary fjord area (scenic cruise was nice) and Kylemore Abbey, the ferry to Aran islands. "The cottage was absolutely perfect for our two week stay. We loved not having a TV and spent two whole weeks almost completely unplugged. There is no oven but we planned on dinner out most nights anyways. There were pots and pans to manage a breakfast or a grilled sandwich. The place is walking distance to the village which has several options for food and we loved Green’s pub. I highly recommend Monk’s for dinner! Highly recommend!!"

"We loved our stay! You can walk down to the water and see the tide pools. We had our three children with us. Ray was an amazing host and very accommodating. We are sorry we missed his visit.
