"We only booked one night as we didn’t know how long we needed to stay due to a family situation. The hotel kept our room open whether we used it or not and only charge for the days we are here at discounted rates. All staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and hugely empathetic. "

"We were very pleased with the hotel, property and location; we walked everywhere. We spent a joyous evening with the FABULOUS HELENA, bartender extraordinaire. She's a gifted bartender. Consistently created one amazing cocktail after another for both my husband and myself. Each was so good that I had a record breaking 3 marintinis! She deserves recognition. We very much enjoyed her company and Charlie's too. "

"This was one of the highlights of our 3 week stay in the UK. Gorgeous old house, massive room decorated beautifully, spotlessly clean and gorgeous grounds. John our host was lovely and cooked us delicious breakfasts. Also lovely surrounds with a donkey across the road who loved a pat, and some cats on the property who loved a cuddle. Highly recommend."

"My family of six stayed here- we are from New York, we didn’t know the area very well. My husband and my four kids and I just adored this place. We booked a double room, which was perfect. The front room. The four kids stayed in and my husband and I stayed in the other room. The kids haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had there. It was so comfy and quiet. The people at the desk were above and beyond helpful. Just an amazing part of our trip to Northern Ireland! "

"Incredible hospitality! We were staying for a friends wedding at the venue and the team could not do enough for you. We arrived early morning and asked if we could leave our cases whilst we headed into Bangor - within seconds the receptionist and housekeeping manager were scouting out which rooms were readily available - we were given an upgraded room and able to check in immediately. "A really nice hotel with very decent sized rooms and fitted out to a very high standard. The service is also excellent especially in the bar where the drinks never go dry! A really nice place that my friends and I all said we would return to. Don’t forget to try the superb Ulster Fry as well!"
