Pound Hill Cottage - quiet country getaway

Pound Hill Cottage is situated in a relaxing country aspect only 15 mins to Ballarat CDB and 7 mins to Wendouree, making it the perfect spot to stay when visiting the Ballarat Begonia Festival, Wendouree Performing Arts Centre, race days at the Ballarat Dowling Forest Race Course or South Street competitions.

Pound Hill Cottage has 3 bedrooms including a cosy queen size bed in one room and 2x single beds in the other two bedrooms. A port a cot is also available on request at no extra charge (guests must provide their own cot linen)
All other clean and cosy linen and towels is provided.

The bathroom which is newly renovated includes a shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. A heated towel rail adds a touch of luxury.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, high chair and complimentary tea, coffee and milk.

There is a warm wood fireplace with firewood included making it perfect for Winter escapes. There is a split system for heating and air conditioning for the Summer months.

A single car lock up garage is attached to the cottage for security for your car.

Laundry facilities with washing machine and dryer.

All located on our 10 acre property with a private entrance in a beautiful country setting with amazing views and sunsets. Sit on the verandah and enjoy the serenity.
Sorry no pets allowed onsite inside or outside. Any pets visiting or staying will result in termination of your stay and an extra pet cleaning fee payable. No smoking or vaping allowed please.

Comfy family stay

We had a lovely time in this comfortable and cosy cottage. It was a great place for a winter getaway! The kids had a great time, so much to do in Ballarat. The cottage was easy to find and easy to get to all the places that we wanted to visit!

Cottage Oasis

Property was absolutely perfect. Such a peaceful and relaxing setting. Communication with the property owner was fantastic. The cottage was well appointed and welcoming. Perfect place for a family catch-up. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect cottage stay

We loved our stay at Pound Hill Cottage. It was amazingly clean and cosy. It had the perfect bedroom set up for our family. The kids loved staying there, as did we. Being just out of the town centre of Ballarat made for a quiet stay. The drive back into the town centre was quick and easy. We would definitely stay here again.

A perfect getaway with two small children. We'll be back once the weather is nicer.

A clean and beautiful secluded cottage. Felt like a real escape and even though it largely rained, the cottage was perfect: clean, well equipped, large enough for a family of 4 and the kids loved the little touches, like the drawing table, pencils and colouring books. We'll be back when the weather dries up a little so that we can explore the surrounding farmland.

Wonderful and cute cottage

Fantastic place for a family to stay. Very quiet and peaceful location but very close to all that Ballarat, Creswick and Wendouree have to offer. Our host Kylie was extremely helpful and the cottage itself has everything you need to keep warm in winter. I’ll be recommending this cottage as a great place to stay to my friends visiting ballarat.

Fantastic farm house, great location

We loved our stay in your cute farm house. So much to do in the area and Kylie has some great suggestions of local attractions. Added extras like breakfast bar for first night are a lovely touch. Beds and linen were so lovely and comfy and fire place lovely and warm. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful and quiet home with spectacular views

Family Holiday to Ballarat to catch up with Family

Great property which had everything we needed in a lovely quiet location with good views over the neighbouring paddocks. The perfect spot to use as a base to catch up with family and to explore the local area. Would definitely recommend.
