"My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days for our anniversary and had a great experience. Hosts were very friendly and it was in a great location in relation to everything we had planned. Room was cool, really enjoyed the style and furnishings. Would definitely stay there again."

"Everything was great. We used it as a base for my retirement celebration. Friends for the first 5 days; family for the 2nd 5 days. Would definitely go back to this same home. "

"We had a wonderful stay in Asheville. The home is ideally located and makes it easy to get Downtown and points in West Asheville and the River Arts District. We traveled with our small senior beagle and although he couldn’t use the rear stairs, it was easy for him to step off the front porch and walk down the driveway."

"I surprised my husband with a 2 night stay for his birthday. We hiked, relaxed, dined on the porch, and felt like we were able to escape while at Shoal Sound. The accommodations were perfect - clean, spacious, homey, and comfortable! Bonus- The weather was amazing. "

I spent much of my time reading on the porch. Although I could see traffic on the other side of the bamboo forest, I could not hear it. The sound of the wind in the bamboo was so soothing.Bed was comfortable, linens adequate. Bathroom was clean with good water pressure in the shower. I used the washer and dryer and both worked well. ...
